- Based entirely on official firmware;
- Disabled throttling(decrease in performance when heated);
- Deodex;
- Added Root rights;
- Removed the check package signatures;
- Removed all unnecessary apps and debris;
1. Download the. Zip file and dump the firmware to the memory card.
2. Loaded in Recovery
3. Making wipes:
1) Wipe Cache
2) Wipe Dalvik Cache
3) Wipe Factory Reset
4. Select Install / Instal zip from SD
5. Choose. Zip firmware file and wait for the end of the process.
6. Boot the system is ready.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

Will it work for K50-a40 and are there any bugs or cons: e.g. Tape to wake missing, or LED notification missing etc?
My ROM based on official ROM for K50-a40. WakeUp work, led too
Just tested. Confirm: everythings works ok.
One minus: lack of some languages (for ex German , Polish, Swedish .. )

What a great rom! Been using it as my daily rom for the past couple days and everything seems to be working great. Carbon V2.5 may be my favourtie AOSP rom, but this is by far the best variant of Vibe UI I have tried thusfar. If your looking for a stable and smooth Vibe UI alternative, then this is your best bet.
Granted there was a little bit of lag with the lenovo launcher, but that is fixed by adding nova launcher and root booster. Root booster is a great app to speed up the UI of any rom, FYI.
One more thing: Originally the Antutu benchmark for this rom was about 44 5XX. With root booster applied on extreme stability settings, Antutu benchmark was about 46 2XX. Really satisfied with the performance of this rom. Thanks author for sharing!!
