Install ROM :

- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.

- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !

- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

OR install with OTA

are you sure this update is for alps galaxy s4? the screen is upside down and it scatter my screen pixels after using it a while coz the resolution of the screen is different. i think this is for bluebo s4 coz its has the same problem when i flash that rom in my phone, hope you upload another update rom that really is for alps galaxy s4 thanks!

hahaha success!!! if anybody has having the same problem as me heres what you do. first download the stock alps galaxy s4 rom and this upadte rom, extract the files and copy the system.img from the update rom folder and paste in the stock rom folder then flash your phone using the scatter file in the stock rom folder. it will still be upside down when your boot it so heres how to fix it, after you flash your phone you need to root it. just use mtkdroid tool and it will be an ease, after you root your phone download the app build prop editor in google play. after you download, open it and find the hwrotation settings and change the value from 180 to 0 and reboot your phone. and there you have it, the splash image will still be upsidedown but from the boot animation to the whole ui will be fixed, hope this will help guys!

  nope air gesture only works in one direction which is left swipe coz in uses only the proximity sensor to detech hand gesture, smart eye doest work too but smart try function very well when using the gyro but it doesnt detect your eye movement. all in all its a stable rom with some added function than the original alps stock rom, oh and you can only charge the phone when its on coz the charging animation when its off is broken.

  Rename the scatter from 6589 to 6572 and it will load. If you get the DRAM error than it's not the right rom

first share the link to stock rom so people can download stock rom & update and can change system.img from the update rom folder and paste in the stock rom folder as u mentioned in post 2
