Flashing opengapps gave me problems as well. Search for ‘New Google Installer’ apk for Miui and do the setup.

Not able to download it displays error
unable to.downlod any thing from.play store . it always shoew waiting for wifi. even i uncheck the box when downloding start from play store. any fix for this play store bug..
Go to download manager application and open settings and then select download limit change it to unlimited
Not a Playstore bug. If you have a previous working Miui ROM , make a copy of DownloadProvider.apk and DownloadProviderUI.apk from /system/priv-apps/. Then in the current ROM, force stop, delete cache and data from Downloads and Download Manager which is in ‘Installed Apps’. Then replace the files in the current ROM. Check proper file permissions. Should be rw-r–r–. Reboot, go to Download – >Settings and make your changes.
