Install ROM:
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

yes, I tried. In my case it didn't even switch on after flashing.

yes, you could say that, this is not meant for HDC N9000, and after that I used only system.img file with our usual HDC N9000 ROM files to check what is special about in this rom, I could get it worked, upside down screen, it seems to be fine, but you don't have lot of options in settings menu, you can just simply swith on/off gestures, not like the real Note 3 settings manu we get on HDC N9000. Camera interface is similar to real samsung interface. I didn't bother to correct upside down problems and all coz I prefer HDC N9000 ROM

I think yes, this ROM is for your phone, anyway make a nandroid backup first, in CWM.
