Recommended Installation method:
Recovery mode (TWRP (2.8.7.0 or up) / CWM)
– NOTE –
* The updater-script is already edited, so you can directly flash it via recovery.
* You can dirty flash the rom over previous 1609 or 1610 official DEV rom.
But i recommend to do a clean install.
– Flashing Procedure –
* Download the rom zip file and "K3NOTE_MM_Patched_Boot_1608+.zip"
1. Boot in recovery (TWRP 3.0 recommended)
2. For a clean install, ADVANCED WIPE "System", "Data", "Cache" and "Dalvik cache" partitions. Otherwise skip this step.
3. Flash the rom file BUT don't reboot system yet.
4. Go back and Flash "K3NOTE_MM_Patched_Boot_1608+.zip"
5. Now DO NOT flash anything else. Reboot system and complete the setup wizard.
– Rooting –
Just download "UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip" and flash it in recovery.
– GAPPS –
- Download latest gapps from http://opengapps.org/ [ARM64, 6.0, PICO] )
- Go to recovery and flash the gapps zip, Reboot system.
- You will get a message "Unfortunately setup wizard has stopped" as soon as boot up. Don't panic, press: Try to solve >> Clear Date >> Permissions >> (Allow all permissions)
- Go to Settings > App Manager > and for the following apps, Allow all permissions:
Google Play Store
Google Play Services
Google Contacts Sync
- Now Enable Internet if not yet done > Open play store > Sign in with your google account
- Done! You have working Gapps now!

what is the difference between Full rom – 1611 DEV (Google Drive) and K3NOTE_MM_Patched_Boot_1608+.zip
First one is Full rom zip
The 2nd one is a patched boot image file.
Please add 1613
Whag is mean patched boot img? It is for flsshing via flashtool?
It for flashing via recovery after you flash the rom.
And in this new update is still issue with data switching?
This is not a new update. This released two weaks ago. There is newer 1613 which don't have that bug.
play store come this rom？
after doing everything…the google play service still keeps crashing when i start the device…..i allowed all permissions on google services, google store and google contacts sync…..i restarted it a few times but it still keeps crashing…pls give me a solution someone…
is otg work i cant figur it out
i was in s422 flashable zip previously on my k50a40 k3 note. in which after the boot they asked me if the external SD stays in the device all the time. so i choose yes and it formated my card. Now when i install this rom, i wiped everything including internal and copied the rom files from PC through TWRP. the rom got installed to the external SD and it doesnt show internal now. in TWRP it shows only the internal. pretty weird
any fix? in twrp it shows no external sd. same as in the file manager rom. i dint do any partition through TWRP. and also give a flasable zip of the new update as it fixes a lot of stuff. thanks in advance guys. Good job with the rom. liked it.
the micro sd problem was fixed with full wipe fresh install without external sd.
most of the apps like uc browser, and all games fails to start saying improper install. i installed them from playstore. tried it many times. is this common error ?
