Android 4.4.2 KitKat for acer liquid e2. Say thanks to @chrmhoffmann for compiling the first ever CM11 for MT6589.

CyanogenMod is an aftermarket firmware for a number of cell phones based on the open-source Android operating system. It offers features not found in the official Android based firmwares of vendors.
What works:
- SIM1 for phone calls (incoming/outgoing) and SMS, data (2g, 3g)
- Audio (microphone – now also outside phone calls, loudspeaker, headphones)
- most sensors (auto brightness seems to be broken, but sensor works)
- Wifi (not wifi direct)
- GPS (no A-GPS yet nor EPO assist files, so the fix can take a bit)
- candy crush, facebook and twitter
- 2nd sim card is a WIP (see 2nd post how to play with it)
- hw composer
- camera for taking pictures (not video)
- auto brihtness
- usb tethering
- wifi tethering
What doesn't work:
- 2nd sim card 3G switch, Dual SIM is a WIP, not fully there yet
- re-enable after flightmode broken
- camera for "movies" does not work
- (hw) video en/decoding not enabled
- bluetooth not available
- FM radio not available
- A-GPS does not work, GPS works though but slowish
- rest of MTK specifics (what?)

INSTRUCTIONS:
Place the zip files in sdcard.
Reboot to recovery (Use TWRP).
Wipe data/factory reset.
Wipe dalvik Cache.
Install rom and gapps.
Reboot!
nb: – use mx player + custom decode armv7 neon to play video

I get an error when installing with CWM. Gonna flash TWRP now and try again.
Yes, you must flash it via TWRP, CWM isn't compatible.
Dear lolololo90 ,Thanks for the help in advance, sorry for my bad English , but have problem ,installation failed with twrp , i didn't do a android secure wipe ,but did do factory reset , wipe cache and than advanced wipe ,cache,data,system and dalvik cache wipe ,than installed zip but get faillure ,my present rom is IQ446 magic X-Miui rom ,wath did I do wrong ?
to flash this rom there's an absolute requirement, you need modded twrp (already posted above). my suggestion before you flash this rom try to reboot recovery first. i hope this help you through
