DESCRIPTION
This rom works on the following devices:
Homtom HT16 w/ CPU MT6580 only!
Gapps: No
Rooted: No
How to Install:
- Download AEX OS Rom
- Put in the phone or sdcard memory
- Reboot into Custom Recovery
- Do a backup of your present rom (optional)
- Wipe Cache/Data/System
- Install AEX OS ROM
- Don't Wipe Dalvik Cache If you've installed gapps with this rom!
- Reboot (It may take a while longer than usual. Up to 5 minutes on first boot). Please be patient, at the end you will have a fully working AEX OS Nougat ROM.
(It will be in Russian by default but if you manage to find the settings button and then click on the "A"/Globe button which stands for "languages", in the first line you can easily change into your own language).
Google Apps are pico version, which comprises only of Google Play Store and Google Services.
Warning!
There might be some remnant Russian language at some icons on notifications menu since this ROM was ported by a Russian citizen. Just click on them and they will change to your designated language.

All Android 7 OS have problem with WiFi on HomTom HT16.

DOT OS don't have a problem with WIFI on homtom ht16
Not at all. In fact of all the ROMs I have post here for HT16, wifi is always working.
It is GPS that are working somewhat buggy, or not at all working.
But Wifi, it is always working very well.

Every Android 7 OS ROM here that I have tried had slow WiFi, sometimes not working.
Then I'm afraid it's your phone. Try a full wipe and don't use the sd card once you made the format and install of the ROM. If it's still laggy, you know that it's the hardware. Dude. I can watch 720p online movies in it without lag. Or download torrents with a 200 Mbit/s speed. Although it gets very hot.

HT16 doesn't have fingerprint sensor!

why this rom recognize only 2400mah in battery capacity? your help please.
Doesn't matter if it does. It might be that the ROM was ported from a device that had a 2.4 Ah battery. Don't worry, you did not lose capacity.
hi, after that i tested this rom, the battery say 2400 mah, good design, but not working fm radio.
Bugs:
Camera focus – Bluetooth headset – 2400mah battery (this rom is PORTED and the battery capacity is a hidden api) – Camera video record is too bad (the colors of recorded video is wrong)
Attention: This rom was maked to work on revision 9, if you have revision 6 or 1 this rom work wrong or not work
Not working on HT 16- mt 6580- 1gb-8gb.
