If you mess up your phone because you don't know what you are doing, I am not responsible.  Be warned.

This is a stock rooted, deodexed, zipaligned, debloated rom for the Alps N8000. Might work on other N8000 brands(Star/Mpai/etc.) as long as it is MT6582. Not a guarantee.

Download the rom and put it on your external sdcard.

Reboot phone into recovery.

Choose "Install zip from sdcard."

Choose zip from sdcard.

Let it do its thing and you are done.

You can(if you feel the need)wipe data/cashe/dalvic cashe.

Reboot and wait patiently for themes.

After flashing you will need to recalibrate the sensors in Settings/Device/Display or your auto rotation will make you angry because it will get stuck in landscape mode.

Also-after you log into Google Play you will need to reboot before the Play store is fully functional.

06/29/2014-Update- S-view and suspension window is fixed. Also readded the stock wallpaper picker for problems setting the lock screen wallpaper. Please re-download the rom.

      try http://www.china-devices.com/index.php

go to tutorials section and you will find a method, also backup your device first with MTK droid tools,(tutorial section also),and you will need to root your device as well,(tutorials section again)

It should work on that phone because the Mpai N8000 stock RPM works on the Alps N8000. Always make a back up first.

Root your device and then you can get CWM from using mtk droid tools. Follow the link mrsim posted and you should find all the info you need.

AWESOME ROM BABY…this is a work of art,no bloat just pure android i feel like i have a nexus 5 instead of a clone, you can restore all your apps + data with titanium backup,(it even restored xposed with all my set up),just to let people know after installing the rom with CWM i did do a data/cache full wipe and so far all is good the only thing not working is my s-view cover and hopefully the beautifull, gorgeous, super hot, extreemly intelligent,(sweet talk usually works),can sort this out,if not it is a small price to pay for a great ROM… : )

Thanks :) I will post the s-view app you need with instructions once I get the chance. Or you can just wait for the cwm flashable ROM for the mpai. Lol I probably won’t get the chance to be on my computer until Sunday because I have a sick baby. Lol But I do already have it so please give me a few days.

I can’t really help you there. Maybe try searching for devices that are more similar to your phone. Same specs, etc. Or just keep Google searching. Wish I could be more help. Sorry.

ALPS.JB5.MP.V1.6 I have that in my build.prop as mediatek version so what exactly happened when you flashed the ROM? Did it bootloop, burst into flames, etc? What are your phone specs? Screen size, processor is mt6582 but is it dual core/quad core 1.3ghz, dual sim, storage size, etc….

Just an update – there are a few things I need to fix and I will post an update tomorrow. I will also post a ROM for the Mpai N8000 that will fix some bugs if you flashed this ROM on that device.

With this ROM the device bootlooped.

    Here my specs:

MTK6582 Quad 1,3ghz, 1GB ram (it says 3GB but it's fake, i dont know how to fix it), GPU Mali400, Screen size 5,5' QHD 960×540, dual sim, 2GB rom (i think it's 4GB but maybe they are busy with the ram somehow)
