Before you Flash the Rom, make a Backup.
Make a Backup from your IMEI with MTK Tools or MobileUncle MTK Tools ( can be Downloaded in PlayStore)
HOW TO INSTALL:
prerequisities: Custom recovery (TWRP)
1. place the .zip with the ROM to your SD-CARD
2. reboot into recovery
3. do full wipe (factory reset)
4. install the zip from SD-CARD
5. done!
6. Wait…The device will restart after the first start

Twice try with CWM (wipe everething) , and dont have WIFI ! , 3rd time (first back to MI 4.2.2) also with CWM without wiping , WiFi work but nothing else , acore stop function !!!!
How to Install Andoid L ?
Same for my P9 Water. Must be TWRP? I have CWM 6.0.3.

Maybe first need to be installed Android 4.4.2 ,but wich one(version) ?
When you come from 4.2.2 you must First flash via flashtool the uboot.img (lk.bin) from the last 4.4.2 stockrom

Try flashing ( as you sugested) uboot.img , try TWRP ,PhilZ recovery and no result , try after aosp 4.4.2 installation… always same issue: with wipe no WiFi , with upgrading (wifi work and all preinstalled apps) but googleplay,browser and all other L apps dont work ……..

I am curious will L resolve GPS problem and sometimes battery wobble.

Download the zip, unpack the zip, copy your boot.img from your stockrom in der unpacked folder and repack wir 7zip…. And then testen
