Hello,
I already have Carlive Touch Recovery 3.3a.. Is there a way to flash this using Carlive?
Nevermind, I flashed it using Flashify tool. It works.
But, it seems the file name is wrong if anyone needs to flash it using SP flashing tool. The current file name is "recoverye.img" with "e" at the end, should be "recovery.img".
pls step by step
how to install the recovery, i tried it 10 times with sp tool, dont know why it not work…thanks
I have the same problem…i dont know how to flash.sp flashtool dont work for me
or any other custom recovery
sorry simply rename file to recovery.img if flastool don't load recovery image file
You can flash it using flashtool but before using it you must install preloader USB VCOM Driver or the process can't start
you can also flash it via Fastboot worked fine for me
Process for installing TWRP without SP-Flash Tool on Windows 10
1.) Get Fastboot and ADB driver (google is your friend)
2.) Download Be Touch 2 TWRP 2.8.7.0 and extract it to your folder where fastboot.exe is located
3.) Rename the extracted recoverye.img to recovery.img
4.) Start the Recovery mode on BT2 -> Turn off, then press Power + Volume Up until the Ulefone Logo Appears
5.) When see the android lying on the back, push the Home Button (Fingerprint) and the Stock Recovery Menu appears
6.) Select Option 6 -> "reboot bootloader" using the volume keys and select the choice with the power button
7.) BT2 will reboot into fastboot mode (on the left bottom of the screen you will see "Fastboot…."
8.) connect via usb to your PC, open a command window and navigate to the directory where fastboot.exe (and recovery.img) is located
9.) type: fastboot flash recovery recover.img and the following output should appear
D:\Fastboot>fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
sending 'recovery' (13540 KB)… OKAY [ 1.313s]
writing 'recovery'… OKAY [ 0.266s]
finished. total time: 1.578s
10.) From now on you will fire up TWRP Recovery with Power + Volume Up and are able to root and install custom ROMs
I did a Backup but first issue is about what to select in the many options: uboot, logo, nvram, secro…?
Then the generated files are not like system.img and boot.img/lib.img that I need. What can I do? Thanks.
for complete backup (flashtool format) please refer to my tool
