Hi guys, I ported Miui V5 based for Blackview Crown.
As far as I tested all the basic functions seems to work like:
Dual Sim, Wifi, BT, GPS, Back Camera (Front not working for now), Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Screen Rotation. All and All it seems pretty solid and working nicely. I runned Antutu and got 30k. I'm still testing batery life but for now it seems good.
No more chat… Now to install the Rom:
- 1st – I recommend you guys to install Carliv Touch Recovery by overfiend (https://www.needrom.com/download/blackview-crown/)
- 2nd – Put the 2 uploded files (Miui_4.9.28_4.4.2 – Blackview Crown.zip and miui_gapps-4.4-small_20140105_signed) in the SD card.
- 3rd – Boot into recovery – wipe menu – wipe all data and wipe dalvik cache
- 4th – Install zip – Choose zip sdcard – Flash Miui_4.9.28_4.4.2 – Blackview Crown.zip
- 5th – Reboot. Configure Miui and then reboot to recovery
- 6th - Flash miui_gapps-4.4-small_20140105_signed and reboot. Enjoy

V2 Released – Camera Fixed (Panorama and Recording, front not working though). Other bugs fixed.

Multilanguage ?
Miui only has English and Chinese, but you can download language pack. Search a little. Google is your friend
i know but in most ported miui roms is multi leng. installed ^^
Hello friend!
Just installed your port and I have to say, even if MIUI is pretty sweet as a UI, i found the following bugs:
- The default language is chinese when you first boot, and it's a real pain to change.
- I have 2 sim cards installed, and i can't access the Mobile Networks in the settings (Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped when i tap it). Thus, no mobile settings.
- Calls don't get through (at least in my case) – all end up with a busy tone for the calling party (i've checked if DND is on or off – same issues) – but i can make calls out.
- Do Not Disturb mode crashes the settings app when i select it.
- Camera – when switching to video recorder, the camera app crashes. Also, there's no touch focus in the camera app.
- Camera – Panorama mode crashes the camera app.
- Notifications drop-down – if tottled to Bar style, there's some rendering issues at the bottom of the notification panel.
- Compass – didn't work until calibrated (moving the phone in a figure 8 motion)
Other than this, i don't know if it was just me, but the overall UI experience seemed a bit sluggish compared to the standard ROM.
Great work, and i hope you'll keep it up, as MIUI seems to be a great alternative for people that want more than just the standard Android UI

But I find it a bit weird, becouse the 1st time you boot you have the option to select the language between Chinese and English. Then theres the dual sim issue. I know that opening the mobile network settings I'll get you the process to stop, but other then that I can perform and receive phonecalls from both sims. Panorama and Recording mode is still not working. The compass you have to calibrated, yes.
Never the less I'll still be working on this…

ich würde noch auf v3 warten, weil diese version noch einige probleme macht. (wie oben beschrieben Panorama and Recording und das mobile Internet funktioniert nicht richtig)

Ok na danke für diese wichtige Info. Und was meinste wann die 3. Version kommt . Eventuell noch dieses Jahr ?. Und wenn dann alles funzt was meinste ist ein guter Spendenbetrag ? Ist ja sicher ne heiden Arbeit das zu erstellen.

er meinte das es noch dieses jahr kommt (aber er braucht halt zeit diese Probleme zu beseitigen).
p.s würde 5-10€ spenden wenn die Miui Rom gut funktioniert. (jeder denkt anders, einige würden mehr und andere würden weniger zahlen)
