DESCRIPTION
This works great on the Blu Studio XL 6.0". Be sure you have the drivers installed on your PC. Then ensure you are using MediaTek SP Flash Tool V5.13.52.200 or later, else you will see "….scatter file in invalid format". Have the scatter file all loaded with the Flash Tool opened and then power up the BLU phone. As soon as you hear the USB driver loading sound, kick in the download button to start the flash. Blu should then have V25 ready for your free upgrade, so just select it and it updates properly. Note if you are attempting to root this device, all I have found to root it is Kingroot. With recent Kingroot versions whill be forced to install other Trial software, just accept and remember to delete.you will be forced to install. On this device you have to run the install twice. Then do not open Kingroot app but download check for root app to ensure you are rooted, then if you want to delete Kinguser, do NOT use the SuperSU-me as suggested everywhere but instead use the "Method 2" manual method by installing a Terminal Emulator app and executing the su and other commands to execute the special script you download. Pull off the rear cover, if the model number is BLU D850Q then the ROM will work.

i need help please. i downloaded and extracted but when i want to use the flash tool i select the scatter file.txt, it says "this application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
please contact the application's support team for more information" is it because it is not zip format?
secondly you said power up blu phone am confused a lot of what i see is you are supposed to switch off phone during the flashing…….
ok i had to do my research to find my solution. to anyone who uses this version and encounter problem like mine, use a different scatter file from another firmware withe same MT6582, COPY IT and paste. it in the extracted folder but delete the scatter file first from this one giving error. good luck
