OK, I recently bought this phone, hence I'm very much a newby to flashing firmwares in Android. I managed to install this ROM using Flashify + TWRP, thanks to Jin Lin 's tutorial vid (see here), many thanks to him.
CARBON ROM looks very nice at first sight. Just 3 useless icons remained but were easily deleted. It comes rooted by default & preinstalled with the basic tools you expect from a Android OS on a phone: Browser, Calculator, Calendar (Google's it seems), Camera, Clock, Contacts, Dolby Atmos, Downloads, File Manager, FM Radio, Gallery, Google settings, Messaging, Music (Lenovo's), Nova Settings, Phone, PlayStore, Settings, Sound Recorder, SuperSU, TeslaUnread Plugin.
SIM cards are cleverly handled: a different colour can be set to each card & both carriers' networks were well detected (which wasn't the case in other ROMs).
Battery life up to 40 hours in a row.
But there are also a few turn-offs: Menus are somehow presented in a different fashion. Hence can't manage to find some features (Different Ringtone to each Contact, Block unwanted callers). Also couldn't take screen snapshots by the usual Android way (Power Button + Volume Down).
If anyone can tell me how to manage these, it will be greatly appreciated.

- Haven't managed to install S5 or S6 Samsung keyboard.

Hi. I am the porter/creator of the rom.
To clarify, this isn't the Carbon ROM that is used in different units, and is not produced by the Carbon ROM team. It's just that I have been a rom cook for years now and I have always named my works 'Carbon'.
Anyway, thanks for the feedback. As for the screenshot function, it works on me. I will try to figure out the others.

Thanks for the ROM. However, I found that the Nova Launcher is not Prime version, therefore. unread count is not working? I tried to install the Prime version as apk but it doesn't work. Any suggestion?
Flash this ROM last night and it is running even smoother than I thought. It's absolutely free from bloatware. There's always room for updates with Android M about to be lauched.

cannot connect to my wifi networks. after password it says ther is an authentication fail. What can i do to solve this?

oh man it's a best rom i ever used in lenovo k3 note everything working prefectly except the notification led. Anyway it being rock..thanx a lot for the rom man
