   Don't mean any disrespect, but how does this CTR 2.2 recovery differ to CTR 2.5, posted in comments by Vladizlat (on 08/13/2014 @ 6:04 pm) @ https://www.needrom.com/downlo.....ad/jiayu-g2fw/ ???

   I'm awaiting delivery of the JiaYu G2FW, doing lots of research before I will attempt root.

     I don't know, what is the difference. I use this. this is OK. I think the 2.5 also OK.

   Thanks kleine. I'll probably end up trying both.
   Though, I'm interested in MTK Droid tools ability to generate CMW (non-touch) recovery. Is that risky and/or lesser custom recovery operations, beyond the touch-less interface?

     You don't need to generate CWM with Droidtools. I will upload a good CWM as soon as possible.

     Difference beetwen CTR touch & CWM non-touch is the user interface (touch or no ) and CTR won't stop with error7 if the phone identification has no success by ROM. CWM sometimes stop with error7 at the beginning of the installation, but the ROM is good.

   You recommend Mobileuncle MTK Tools, but "[ROOT] Rashr – Flash Tool", also on Play Store, would also do the job just as well? I see Rashr has a recovery backup option and believe (without using) that Mobileuncle does not possess that ability. Also, I've read a few people suggesting Rashr is safer than Mobileuncle, while SP Flash Tool (with the right scatter) is the most safest. What are your thoughts?

     I'm using Mobiluncle. Sometimes SP Tool. If Mobileuncle doesn't work or went wrong then you can repair with SP Tool. I don't know Rashr.

   Hii … i flashed a rom with sp flash tools but now my jiayu g2f doesnt start , looks like dead , and i cant flash with sp tools again . i am trying to  download and flash another rom but it wont flash…. what to do ?
