DESCRIPTION
Recently I developed a app named auctor for android, you can download mp3, movies, series etc etc. check it if you want in www.auctor.tv, its free.
Important
- Install with sp flash tools and Fimware Upgrade Option
- Backup IMEI and Data
- Dont install it on a G4SL version, it's only for G4S version
- The rom update the firmware touch screen and has been created by the official rom stock since jiayu released android 4.4 kitkat, so if you downgrade to Android 4.2 version, the touch screen will be not calibrated and only will work with Android 4.4 and later versions, you will need use a custom kernel to work with 4.2 versions, the kernel is in the g4s needrom section too.

- fixed maps, google services, gmail etc, because I needed add some new lib files in system/lib.

-it's the same as Chilapos v2 G4S-20141113-154404 but I changed the root tool with Kinguser, because SuperSu had some problems with the root permissions and the sdcard in the jiayu stock rom, for example, root explorer and mobile uncle could not show or have access to the sdcard when run it with root permissions.

- Added google keyboard last version.
- boot.img rooted and adb unsecure.
- system.img rooted with supersu v2.35 because the stock version dont have superuser as default.
- recovery.img modded with PhilZ Recovery
- Fixed gps and added extras in build prop to save battery without lose performance.
- Support all languages and english as default.
- Benchmark results with art: Antutu 5 32500, 3dmark 7050.

JH, what do you mean with: "GPS works fine here"?
My GPS never actually worked fine, and as far as I can read everywhere, it's a huge issue for almost everyone: get satellites, fix and then lose position as soon as you use maps or sigyc etc.
If you have any suggestion to share you would become a super hero
I can get a fix in <10s almost all of the time, and keep a reliable location in Maps/Sygic. I have performed the alu foil strip mod to improve S/N ratio a bit (I usually get quite a few >30 in GPS test), but I also got OK signal before that. No need for NTP tricks here. Maybe I am just lucky with my G4Ses, because I had 3 of them and they were all are OK. But bottom line: if you need the best and reliable GPS experience you better stick with Qualcomm!

This is my simple alu fix. It helps to get better signal: S/N ratio bars in GPS are typically >30 now, instead of about 25. Don't expect miracles, but it helps!

Maybe I can help a bit with GPS issues, like JH said GPS should got a fix in seconds (less than 30 in good weather conidion and good sky view)
I record my bike trips with endomondo every day, Jiayu G4S GPS is bad, is not accurate and likes do not hold fix too good but it ok for most of the time for tracking and navigation.
- Do not use "GPS Tools" applications with G4S, for some reason when this app is installed my GPS is not able to get fix. With "GPS TEST" all works.I think there are applications not tested with Android 4,4 and installing one of them you can make GPS fail.
Like very popular EPO download application, I found out that EPO files are not collected each time, so I dont use it at all. \
Same with FAST GPS – after usage my gps.conf was empty! so I had to restore oryginal file.
So best is to test your GPS "as is" without all these "magic" apps from the Google Play.
@JH, thanks for the screenshot. I'll try it today. I managed to have a drastic increase with alu as well, but it's not estetichally pleasant (being external).
@mmichal12, I don't usually have big issues in fixing the signal, but the phone often loses it and the accuracy is pathetic (like in maps i'm constantly 20 meters ahead of the location or simply in a different place, like when at home on the terrace).
Overall, the good news is that it seems there can be light at the end of the tunnel and there are chances it's not a train

Hi, guys the rom seem to be good, but unfortunately the GPS is not working in me. I seet the satelites but can't positioning. Do you have any new tool how to fix this?
there is not much you can do unfortunately. The best I could find is this:
