   It's very hard to find new rom of chuwi vi7.

   Are you using chuwi vi7?

   Do you have any problem with battery drains even though it run airplane mode?

   With that ROM my WiFi doesn't work. I just enabled WiFi and it is try to enable it. Thats all.

   Any help?

     I found after flash that I lost my IMEI and IMEI SV… That's why WiFi and calls doesn't work. How to recover it?

     You have the IMEI number on the Box of Chuwi Vi7. All you need to do is follow the instructions:

     1. Go to Engineering Mode with this code * # * # 3646633 # * # *
     
     2. Type it on call pad
     
     3. Engineering Mode show on your phone screen
     
     4. Go to CDS info
     
     5. Go to Radio info
     
     6. then go to Phone1 (For the first IMEI No)
     
     7. At the top there is a command line which begins "AT +" just type there "AT +EGMR=1,7,"IMEI_1" (Instead of IMEI_1 put your first IMEI No)
     
     8. Hit send command
     
     9. If you done just reboot the phone
     
     10. If you change the second IMEI No then go to step 2 and select "Phone2"
     
     11. And enter the code "AT +EGMR=1,10,"IMEI_2" (Instead of IMEI_2 put your second IMEI No)
     
     12. Hit send command
     
     13. Reboot your phone
     
     
     
     Please note that the command is:
     
     AT +EGMR (space between AT and +), and the IMEI number goes in quotation marks, no space after the second coma.

   Do I have to plug in a SIM card? Becuase when I typed a code, nothing happend. Code was accepted, but no engineering mode pop up.

     I see your: Baseband version, IMEI and IMEI SV = Unknown.

     1. Did you have ROOT before you try to install this rom?

     2. Did you folow the Installation Instructions?

     3. After what happen – Did you try to REinstall the Original ROM version?

   I got broken tablet with green sceen. I don't know what happend before.

   I used adb sideload to upload update.zip. Then I got tablet back to the system…

   And then I checked everything. At this moment tablet is rooted, because I tried SManager to restore IMEI. It didn't work.

   With Digma_SoFia_IMEI_recovery tool I was able to restore IMEI, but there is a dummy IMEI now, because I could not find a box, where original IMEI's are. Maybe I did wrong, becuase I used two time same IMEI…

   Anyway..I will get both IMEI and I will try again to push them in. Do you think that is a problem why WiFi doesn't work?

     I see your photos on forum xda, and you dont have Baseband version. that means that you dont have MODEM, and that why you cant use WIFI.

     Probably you erased that (and IMEI) when you burn new rom.

     If you try to burn new rom – I dont think that fix the problem of missing IMEI, But maybe it fix the missing Baseband.

     So I suggest you to:

     1. Burn this rom like Installation above, and after that check if you have Baseband version, IMEI and IMEI SV.

     2. If you just dont have IMEI – try to do what I told you before, with original IMEI from the BOX.

      

     P.S.

     I dont have this tablet anymore, so I cant check for you if I can change IMEI with my solution.

    I did installation. Baseband version is now "CTE_MNT_SF_3GR_MRD_LPOP_MR1_1526.02".

    I turned on WiFi and same as before…Stuck on "turning Wi-Fi on…" message.

    Damn!

      Did you have IMEI and IMEI SV? 

      Can you return the tablet to seller? Or at least ask him why the wifi dont work?

      If it came with green screen from the box, I would ask from seller a full refund..
