DESCRIPTION
This is my port RemixOS v.1.0 (based at android 4.4) for Chuwi Vi8 tablets.
The ROM is situable for CW1506 S/n 1401-1508 only and not function correctly on other CW15** or S/n 1509-1512.
Please! Before flashing it, spend a time and do TWRP-backup of your stock-ROM.This will prevent potential problems, if for some reason you do not like my ROM or something goes wrong.
Installation:
- Copy ZIP to external MicroSD.
- Install TWRP-Recovery (look in needrom.com for it.)
- Reboot to TWRP-recovery.
- Do TWRP-backup of a stock-ROM.
- Aprove simple wipe a data (factory reset)
- Install ZIP – (If You have error message about "dont mount system", return to principal screen TWRP, again go to "Install" and repit installation.)
- Reboot to System. That can take above 5 minuts.
Specification of ROM:
- DPI changed to 190.
- Support FAT32 and NTFS on MicroSD or OTG-media.
- Improved battery life.
- Multilanguage.
- Improved Multitasking and RAM optimization.
- Multiwindows interface like Windows8.
- Pre-instlled ROOT.
- OS-Switcher to Windows. (Curtain of notifications Android > Icon "Off" > Switch to Windows OS)
Bugs:
- Because of stupid bugs in codes of the stock RemixOS-launcher, that support DPI=160 or 320 only, which are too small and too big for our tablet screen. Also Remix-launcher does not support widgets. Due it, I changed Remix-launcher to Nova. As a result of it, You can not change a wallpaper of a lockscreen and put or change icons of other apps to taskbar.
- Another one bug is stupid error in multilanguge support. Any things can be do not been translated correctly or can be not translated.

If You use language different to languages such as English, Russian, Ukrainian, Chinese, You can have a problem to enter password when connect to WiFi. In this case go to advensed setting of WiFi and set password from that pop-up window. Sorry, but I can not correct this error for all languages.
- If Yoy have any issues with PlayStore, run app "Installer Google Play", tap "Install and reboot" aprove root access.

I have sound problem. HDMİ output and bluetooth autput has sound but speaker not working

Hi, thanks v..m. for your posts. I have owned a Chuwi Vi8 for over a year now, but since installing Win 10 and then trying to reinstall Win 8.1 I have been unable to boot my tablet. By the way its a CW1506 serial no. 1623. After turning tablet on, it goes to an error msg: INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE, and goes into a loop, starts again and shows the msg, again and again.
I'll gladly buy you a couple of beers if you can give me a stepbystep instructional guide to get my tablet working again. Appreciate a reply.

And , i found a "stupid" way for change the dpi ^^ Just an app … Called "Easy DPI Changer" i put 160 that great.
