DESCRIPTION
This is my mod of stock-ROM (Android 4.4) for Chuwi Vi8 tablets.
This ROM is situable for CW1506 S/n 1401-1508 only and not function correctly on other CW15** or S/n 1509-1512.
Please!
Before flashing it, spend a time and do TWRP-backup of your current ROM. This will prevent potential problems, if for some reason you do not like my ROM or something goes wrong.
Installation:
- Copy ZIP to external MicroSD.
- Install my TWRP-Recovery (look in needrom.com for it.)
- Reboot to TWRP-recovery.
- Do TWRP-backup of a stock-ROM.
- Do simple wipe a data (factory reset)
- Install ZIP – (If You have error message about "dont mount system", return to principal screen TWRP, again go to "Install" and repit installation.)
- Reboot System. That can take above 5 minuts.
Specification of a ROM:
- DPI changed to 190.
- Cleared and debloated.
- Replaced boot-animation – Google Edition style.
- Replaced some system apps.
- Support FAT32 and NTFS on MicroSD or OTG-media.
- Improved battery life.
- Some optimizacions.
- ROOT and SuperSu installed.
- Added init.d support.
- GAPPs replaced and updated to function correctly.

On my VI8 dual CW1506, the android part was corrupted and was not able to boot. It stucked at CHIWI logo. But I can boot windows part normally.
My current Recovery was CWM.
So, I have to fastboot flash the recovery img to TWRP.
Then I flashed this rom then it work perfectly!

@sudloa, The problem is CWM by Agafonoff can not mount boot partition and can not flash boot.img. My TWRP can.
Aw, seems like I couldn't find the way to install Xposed framework.
Every time I install the framework, the bootloop occurred then I have to reflashed rom again. Any idea?
You need to do two step:
Download Installer http://1drv.ms/1XjSwV2
Install APK and run it, but doing nothing, exit from app.
Create file /data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/jit_reset_offset and write 0×98 in them, save it.
Now You can run Xposed-Installer and install a framework and other stuff.

Stupid Question I knoe my Chuwi Vi8 DualOS CW1509 will not take this but why? the other Roms only ask if is a 150 . I worried I mess up my tablet with thiers mods not that your wrong about yours. I am asking for sake of learning.

Hello, one question, Is this Rom going to change my partitions?
Because I want to use the 32 gb on Android (which I'm already using). So, if the ROM will change the existing partitions for lower ones, where do I change the partition sizes of this ROM?.

First I need to install superSU right? This part I can not succeed.
Could someone explane step by step how to unlock the bootloader and install superSU and TWRP on my Chuwi VI8.
