DESCRIPTION
Classic ROM v3 by Dimid/iv2012 mod rbt - in my opinion this is currently one of the two best ROM the best multilanguage ROM for THL 5000 (second is Ultimate ROM).
Classic ROMs comes from excellent ukrainian author Dimid/iv2012 (see below to his pages on russian forum). Dimid still made three classic ROM - V1, V2 and V3. Original version no. 1 and no. 3 contains only 4 languages. Therefore, I decided to prepare a multilanguage version nо.3. Thank Dimid for creating truly excellent ROM, I just finished his work - made available ROM for non-Russian speakers – added the world's major languages (I was informed Dimid about it).
This version is a pure Android 4.4.2 + specific functions of hardware THL5000. Dimid collected all the best from the firmware ROM: Classic ROM, Philips ROM, OPPO_UI ROM, official ROMs. Camera, GPS and radio are from Philips ROM. Dialer, flip cover, smart gestures are from original ROM 1.1.0. Recent apps from Oppo_UI, OpenGL, 3D from Philips I928. Modem 900Mhz from XL5. Author leave the original launcher in the ROM, but I recommend to install Nova launcher, with it ROM works perfectly. Gapps are integrated. Integrated Power Fix Patch also. The first picture shows my screen with Nova Launcher and Wearher & Clock Widget.
I added the same languages as the version no.2:
Afrikaans, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Melayu, Catala, Czech, Dansk, Deutsch, English, Spanish, Filipino, French, Croatian, IsiZulu, Italian, Kiswahili, Latvian, Lithuanian, Hungarian, Nederlands, Norwegian, Polish, Portuges, Romanian, Runantsch, Slovak, Slovenian, Suomi, Svenska, Tiet Viet, Turkish, Greek, Bulgarian, Russian, Serbian, Ukrainian, Arabic, Chinesse and many more…

Two latest version of the ROM from 07.01.2015 contain previous patchs: Boot_Uboot_110.zip, Boot_Uboot_111.zip, Lang_patch_1.zip, Lang_patch_2.zip, Recent_App_wo_Button.zip.
Installation:
Latest version are THL_Classic_ROM_v3.0_rbt4-new_disp.zip and THL_Classic_ROM_v3.0_rbt4-old_disp.zip. Before installing, you must determine which display type is used on your phone. Install Display tester application from GP - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gombosdev.displaytester. Go to "Display quality" menu and run "Gamma detection". If your gamma value is 1.2 you have a new display type, install file THL_Classic_ROM_v3.0_rbt4-new_disp.zip. If your gamma value is 1,8-2,0 you have old display type, install THL_Classic_ROM_v3.0_rbt4-old_disp.zip.
Detailed installation instructions:
1 – save the ROM file on the SD card
2 – jump to TWRP recovery, if you haven't it, install it (installation instructions are here, sorry in slovak language only,use Google translator): http://androidforum.cz/twrp-2-7-1-0-root-pre-thl-5000-t57731.html
3 – click Wipe and select items: Dalvik Cache, System, Cache, Data, Int.SDcard and Android Secure, then click Swipe to Wipe
4 – click on Install, choose ROM file and install it – click Swipe to Install, then click Reboot System
5 - In Settings/About phone go to the last choice "Build number" and click on it click 5x – it will unlock Developer options
6 – In Settings / Developer options set this an item "Animator duration scale" to "0,5x". Notice: this is necessary for proper function of Dialer.apk
7 – Optionally install Nova Launcher and Weather & Clock Widget from GP and latest Titanium Backup - http://uloz.to/xkXcJJdj/titanium-backup-pro-v6-2-0-3-full-patched-apk
8 – install all your applications
9 – optionally ODEX system applications, your applications and framework in phone (see instructions below)
Additional ROM accessories, install from TWRP (Install file, click Wipe Dalvik/Cache, click Restart to System):
PermissionControl.zip - add "App permissions" to Settings/Security – manage apk permissions
Modem_st_850.zip - standard modem 850/2100MHz – if 900MHz modem don't work correctly
Keyguard_4st.zip - unlock to 4 positions (phone, SMS, camera, unlock)
Boot_v1.1.2.zip - latest kernel from original ROM 1.1.2. (only for phones with new type displays)
THL_5000_Stock_boot_112_fixed.zip – modified kernel 1.1.2 (for new displays), better showing battery % level
THL_5000_Stock_boot_111_fixed.zip - modified kernel 1.1.1 (for new displays), better showing battery % level
THL_5000_Stock_boot_110_fixed.zip - modified kernel 1.1.0 (for old displays), better showing battery % level

Custom kernel install if you have problems witch showing the battery % capacity (it is not necessary for all phones). After kernel installation in TWRP make Wipe Cache/Dalvik. Completely discharge the battery, then fully charge the battery. Now, the battery level should display correctly (not guarantee that it will be so real).

Benefits of ODEX ROM:
The advantages of ODEX ROM is faster start system applications, better stablity, longer battery life and the fact that applications use less RAM as than they are in DEODEX state. Before starting ODEX process you have to check whether your phone has min. free space: Framework (14%), System apps (23%), the entire ROM (31%). In most cases this is not a problem.
How to make ODEX procedure:
- in TWRP, make a full backup (not necessary, I recommend)
- in TWRP install "OdexerTool_1.4_ARMEABI.zip"
- ater restart to system you will find Terminal emulator apk in phone, run it
- type "su" and Enter (without quotes)
- type "odex" displays a list of available commands
- type "all"
- will take place odex process in folders: app, priv-app and framework
- at the end of the ODEX process, type "1", the phone will restart
- done

I've installed and followed the instructions but my available ram only seems to be 185mb which is not right. It also gets very hot. I've reinstalled twice thinking I've done something wrong but the same thing is happening. I think I will have to go back to Bshuy2003 V10.2 . I hope other users don't have this problem. My antutu also went from 30000 to 27900
Go to this ROM, is the best, memory free 1.2 GB after clining with ALLinONE(Google Pplay).

This ROM is good, no problems with RAM or overheating. You must do some mistake in installation process.

Love this ROM but my power drain is strange. It will drop to 55% in 1 or 2 days and than it will stay at around 55% for about 2 days and than drops to 0% in a few hours. I manage to get about 4 days from it so thats ok but the reading is not reliable. Others with this problem?
Yeah, I've mentioned this a few times on various other roms. It was all fine with the Bshuy roms, but all the classics roms seem to have a problem with power readings so they put in the power fix, but it never works for me.
Mine usually go for 4 to 5 days but as with yours, mine will go down at a reasonable rate and hand around the 30 to 40% mark and then without warning drop to 0% in a few seconds and switch off.
I really wish I knew what I could do as it is very annoying and spoils an incredible rom for me.
I've done full wipe etc etc, reflashed several times. I've tried charging phone to 100% then instantly reflashing rom to see if that works.
Everything so far fails.
Any thoughts from the others would be good to hear.

Nice rom, works perfectly.
But got one issue, after installing nova launcher, everything works except the opening drawer animation and opening app animation. ( the scroll animation of drawer and homescreens work.) Not really important but just wanted to see if their is a fix to it?

Do you know a way to fix flash player working with stock browser or boat browser? I used dolphin but overheating the device. On classic v2 and v3 is the same big problem. I don’t know why is that extremely overheating with dolphin but i think it put the cpu on full load or something like that.i don’t want to extremely underclock the cpu on 1.3 or 1.4 especialy for dolphin issue. With dolphin i can make fries potatoes with my phone.

first off all I would like to say a big thank you to you and to Dimid/iv2012 for this great ROM. It is fast and smooth. I scored 33K in Antutu.
I have only a few problems. The first and biggest one is the GPS, I have tried many (maybe to many) things. In GPS test there are 10-14 in view but 0 in use indoor. There is no GPS fix in my car. In outdoor it can fix GPS, but it takes some time. Do you have any advice to make GPS fast and accurate?
The second one is a little strange. I do not receives messages (email, viber message), when the application is not running (because I closed it before). If I don't start viber, I don't get messeges.
It lost the custom names of SIM cards.
Now I had to switch off and on the data connection to be online.
Have you noticed any of these?
I used CWM for install. Does it matter?

@hene use MT GPS from gplay to download epo files so gps will act faster and better also use custom gps.conf file for your country..if some battery applications running and hibernate apps maybe this is the reason for u dont get messages..
for battery accuracy try to delete batterystats.bin after full charge
This rom good but not much tweaks added like build.prop&init.d but still fast and stable.. antutu 32k
I have the same issue with messages. Push notifications don’t work with a lot of apps like gmail, yahoo mail, whatsapp, telegram, viber… I tried push notifications fixer but it don’t have an effect. The problem persists. I think i made somenthing wrong and i reinstall the rom and after that i installed one by one telegram, whatsapp, viber… and test them but it is the same issue with messages for that apps. Maybe is an issue with gcm or classic rom v3 have inside a bad task killer? If i clean recent apps i don’t receive any messages. With wifi on, screen on and apps running a lot on recent apps i receive sometimes but with a huge delay. With 3g connection on is worse. No push messages anymore.
What I saw in settings->apps->running tab:
when whatsapp or telegram running in background and is on recent apps have 12mb and 19mb.
When whatsapp or telegram has been removed from recent apps have 0.00 b and 0.00 b.
I think is somenthing which kill the processes when remove tasks from recent apps and the applications can!’t receive notifications.

The same I feel. Did you experienced that on stock ROM?
Instal xposed app settings module and tick resident for what apps you want to remain running after screen of or clean recent app maybe and kitkat bugs fixer. I find another issue/possible bug. If i leave 3g connected and reboot my phone, after boot 3g is still activate but doesn’t work. Should to turn off and on data connection.
