DESCRIPTION
We introduce you to this patch for Jiayu G5S. If you have the latest official ROM, KitKat 4.4, on your device and you want to flash any previous ROM, or one whose base is prior to the afore-mentioned latest ROM, you must always flash this patch so as to make the touchscreen compatible with KitKat 4.4.x ROMs.
In this patch version, the following changes have been added to the changelog regarding some official features added to this ROM:
- Root permissions in adb.
- Adb working from startup.
How to install:
Only for installations with ROM KitKat 4.4.x
- Install ROM.
- If there is auto-reboot during installation, once the ROM has started up, reboot in recovery mode (if there is no such option in Power Menu, plug the phone in and press Power and Volume+ buttons simultaneously.
- Wipe cache.
- Wipe Dalvik cache.
- Flash the patch.
- Reboot.
Warning:
This patch does not fix the almost useless G5S touchscreens after installing a ROM for the G4S model, v2 or above, on your Jiayu G5S.

And when will fix patch to restore functionality touchscteen for jiayu g5s 2G/16G (Advanced) AUO screen ?
We are waiting….only ejiayu can solve it, they said us that are working on it, we dont have any method to extract the firmware from a working touchpanel and write it on a non working one…
Found is there any way to remove the problem with touch screen? Or should I buy a new display?
