to recapitulate :

 
on site are 3 files : 
1 stock rom from geekbuying – flash with flashtools – named CUBOT GT72
1 update from cubot – update sign – update from phone menu ( i believe that is working also from recovery menu of the phone) – NAMED UPDATE_SIGN
1 backup of my phone – is an archive and it has inside a flashtool – NAMED CUBOT GT72 SM BACKUP

actually i found there are at least tree variants of this phone :( . do not install anything if your phone works well. my variant of phone has 256 mb RAM and is not wcdma .

UPDATE FOR CUBOT GT72

1.Copy “update_sign.zip” into your SD Card

 

2.Press the power button and up volume button at the same time until you go into the boot mode,then press the up volume button to select the recovery mode and press the volume down button to confirm.

 

3.Press the up volume button to select “apple update from sdcard”,then press down volume button to enter

 

4.Press up volume button to select “update_sign.zip”,then press down volume button to install

 

5.Press the up volume button to select “reboot system now” and press down volumebutton to confirm,then it’s ok

    i found other preloader file for cubot gt72 when i try whith them i have red bar 100% and blocked
    i found other scatter files too but don't work
    :/

      For me the working solution is: install driver from the third linked file and run flash tool
      from this package then load the scatter file from the
      stock irmware and flash the stock firmware. For me its working
      after i bricked my phone.
