ROM Mobile Cubot ONE Turbo – ROM Android 4.2.1

I don't know if this version is for New or old screen

ATTENTION This ROM is FOR OLD screen NOT the New screen for now i've not rom for NEW screen

ONLY MT6589T

ROM Official Cubot one turbo - G800_CUBOT_D1_V0.8_20140124_MJK

Gapps include – No Rooted

Language support: Multilang

Install ROM:

- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.

- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !

- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

When you are deleting GoLauncher after Rooting and use default Launcher or e.g. Nova Launcher its really smooth.

  I read that you manage to root and remove go launcher from your cubot one (v0.8)
  I just intalled this ROM on my phone.
  Can you tell me how can I get rid of the ugly launcher that comes by default?

  After you rooted.
  Install the App “App Quarantine”.
  Start the App and search for Launcher. Then put that into Quarantine.

Just thought I would say I did the upgrade tonight. I did have a problem with the USB cable I was using and did install USB drivers from

Under Original Windows USB Drivers
It all worked as expected (I needed to do an upgrade as I was on V0.6) the other F9 Download did nothing but F8 Upgrade did the trick. The phone was acting up a little on V0.6 so I'm hoping V0.8 fixes some problems.
I'd really like to see Cyanogenmod on the phone but I guess we'll need to wait some time for that one, at least until someone ports CM to the MediaTek CPUs.

Hi,
This device is supposed to have 16GB internal memory
but since I Installed this Rom, it shows Internal Memory Capacity of 5.5GB…
what about you guys?
