ATTENTION This ROM is FOR OLD screen NOT the New screen for now i've not rom for NEW screen
ONLY MT6589T
ROM Official Cubot one turbo - G800_CUBOT_D1_V0.8_20140124_MJK
Gapps include – No Rooted
Language support: Multilang
Install ROM:
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM
For people that have problems with flashing the rom i found that after inserting the usb cable in the phone you have to put the battery in the phone. When i hit download and inserted the usb cable in the phone, the spflashtool did nothing, it showed 0% but when i inserted the battery in the phone, it started to flash the ROM.
Bottom line is: Insert the battery in the phone after you inserted the usb cable.
P.S. My phone turns off when i change the brightness level in the power control widget. It happens only when i reach the auto brightness option, and it happend in both v0.7 and this v0.8 versions.
Also it happens when i interrupt the sleep process of the phone, when i touch the screen when it almost turns the display off (sleeps after 1min -selected). What could be the problem?

I've just flashed the phone and all seems to work (I also removed the ugly launcher..)
The camera now shows 13M pixel resolution, but the quality of the pics doesn't seems better.. Tomorrow I'll test it with daylight.

I had problems to go to receovery, phone just hanged on CUBOT then restarted but now after the flashing of this rom, which which is the same version I had installed, managed to regain recovery again.Thanks again this was very helpful.

Is there anybody who managed to replace recovery with CWM or TWRP since when I tried with mobileuncle I was not only uneccessful but also had to reflash rom with spflash since I could not go into receovery mode neither manually nor by means of mobileuncle. it just hanged for a wile with CUBOT on screen then reboots and starts normally but no recovery..

Can I use this rom for my Cubot T9?
i have a problem: i rooted my phone and installed cwm 6.0.4.4(from xda.developers) and when i enter recovery mode it says "can't mount /cache/recovery/…" and it won't let me to install any rom.
what i can do?!?!
I have somehow rescued my phone with this image, but now the screen is blank – phone turns on, I can unlock and lock it, volume buttons work, but there is simply no image.
Does anyone have a solution for this issue – reading through forums I see that I am not the only one, but I just couldn't find solution yet.
Any kind of help would be really appreciated.

I install this rom and I have the same problem with the black screen, it seems that the display driver is not compatible, have you found any solution?
I followed every step and it doesn't do anything anymore. The screen remains black.
Is there anything I can do about this?

friends need urgent help. installation took place smoothly. but the phone is staying up to a black screen. startup sound is coming. but still black screen. aid. My english is bad. I apologize.
