ROM Mobile Cubot ONE Turbo – ROM Android 4.2.1

I don't know if this version is for New or old screen

ATTENTION This ROM is FOR OLD screen NOT the New screen for now i've not rom for NEW screen

ONLY MT6589T

ROM Official Cubot one turbo - G800_CUBOT_D1_V0.8_20140124_MJK

Gapps include – No Rooted

Language support: Multilang

Install ROM:

- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.

- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !

- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.

※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

hi, i download your rom but i have a problem, i change the uboot.bin, nvram.bin, recovery of the rom cubot one turbo of needrom but not fix the problem, i try put other uboot.bin, nvram.bin, recovery and cache but not work it seems that is not compatible driver for my lcd, can you help me please? if you can upload your files uboot.bin, nvram.n and cache and give me the links for download for try with yours files thanks alot!

hi guys, im happy becouse i fix my cubot that not work the black screen, i send varius mails and cubot reply me, i fix my cubot with the second link update this is the solution for all users with the problem black screen:

Does anyone got a new Cubot One with the 1.5 firmware and could share it with us? I bricked my phone and need the new 1.5, because it was installed before I bricked it.

Hi guys, I have a Cubot One Turbo bought in February 2014 with build version G800_CUBOT_D1_V0.7_20140106_MJK, I would like to upgrade to the latest version but I have to choose the V0.8 or V1.5? thanks

  PS: my Cubot still has the stock rom, I just did the root. To update I have to install CWM before and after Flash? if there is a guide to help me

  Hi AngelMike i try out both ROM.
  Seem like V0.8 is good for old screen and it help to improve my phone GPS.
  For V1.5 is seem like is for new screen. I flash it and my cubot just show backlight on and nothing appear.
  I think it might not suit my cubot one here.
  Guys.. if anyone of you try it, please share your experience.
  ** to avoid your IMEI missing, please do not choose format option from the mtktool. Just choose "Download Only" or "Firmware upgrade". Or please use unclemobile tool to backup your IMEI.

1.5 got my 6589T cubot one on a black screen…
0.8 works just fine. Great improvement from the ROM it came with. This 0.8 ROM gives me 18050 score on Antutu and has external sdcard enables as primary storage… Perfect! Congratulations!
PS: if you want a custom recovery that works with this 0.8 ROM, you will need to build one with mtkdroidtool… The ones on XDA are made for the previous ROMs and they won't mount partitions properly and won't work right…
