   hello!, ¿anyone says if this rom works in s208?  I have s208 but not the s208A. This rom is for s208A and the flash not work in s208. ¿The backup of files works?

    

   Hola, ¿sabe alguien si finalmente con los ficheros de backup tras instalar la 4.4 funciona el flash al recuperarlos?

   I am still trying to get flashlight work. Today, I found that on old Cubot (originaly with 4.2) is flashlight connected to GPIO pin 90, you can turn it on/off via MTK tools. Maybe if somebody know where to rewrite this pin in firmware / driver? Maybe we can try to binary edit the libfeatureio.so ?

   Hello, ¿how i can you help? ¿have you the original s208 libfeatureio.so? if you have'nt, give me how can sent to you this file, i have the android 4.2.2 original rom:   Base Band: MOLY.WR8.W1315.MD.WG.MP.V10.P25,2014/03/08  17:02.    Kernel:  3.4.5   Compilation:  CUBOT_4041C_V12

   Hello,

   good, can you pelase send me V10 ROM? I will look inside and extract some files. I hope solution is edit 4.4.2 ROM image file and copy inside libfeautreio.so from 4.2.2.

   In adroid is usualy used for leds default led driver, but CUBOT (omg why?) use some own driver called kd_flashlght…., but I cannot found them in ROM. it is only in /dev and some other variable places, so driver must exist, somewhere. Few references are only in libfeautreio.so (if you edit it binary), thats reason why I wanna try to replace it.

   hello
   after a lot of testing i made a foolishness with my touch screen and now it's working upside down!!
   so if any one of you wants to help me i really need an original NVRAM backup and an original " lk.bin" for testing !
   i  count on you like the other time

   Hello again,

   thanks for your firmware uploads. I tryed binary and ascii search for LED driver in ROM and it is mentioned in /lib/ligfeatureio.so; /lib/libcam.paramsmgr.so; /bin/factory. The driver is called kd_flashlight. I tried to copy these files in all variations between 4.2.2 and 4.4., but without sucsses. Flash light never start working, sometimes I cannot initialize camera. I tryed even copy it with camera drivers, but without success. Somewhere in fimrware must be defined CPU pin number (which is different on newer Cubot verisons) for flash light LED, but I thing it is hardly coded somewhere, chinas fimrwares are usualy poorly coded. By the way on cubot originaly with 4.2 it is a pin with number 99, you can try to turn it on with mobile uncle tools on 4.4.

   So here my development ended, any idea? I spended a lot of time on it :/.  

    

   gatos814: If you open your phone (with screw driver) you can see inside label with android version which you had begore flash. May be I can send it to you, if you dont make backup before flash. 

    

   PS: sory for my English I have not much time for corrections )

    as for coolizard my friend it's easy for the android version
    if you mean before i do the foolishness i had 4.4 but if you mean the original one was the 4.2.2 version 06 or 07 i think without open my phone!
