DESCRIPTION
This is a new custom firmware for s7189 MTK 6589 devices.
Fixed:
internal and external cards works and able to choose them
Newest carliv touch custom recovery
front and back camera works properly
Video recording works
GPS works
SIM card 1 and sim card 2 works
Accelerometer is not working but im already looking for a fix. Could be a problem with the kernel since MTK dont want to release their sources i can not manage to make a custom kernel. If someone from u manage to make a fix please post it.
This firmware is based on 4.2.2
Installing firmware:
i uploaded the firmware with SP flash tool as well so use unrar and place them where ever u want.
1) Take off your battery from your device
2) Open SP flash tool
3) Choose scatter the one inside the firmware folder
4) click download
5) connect your device without battery through USB
7) let it finish installing
plug in your battery and boot your phone
it takes around 5 mins the first time to load.
PS: i forgot to chance Density so u can use LCD dencity program to change your density like the one bellow:

and set the density to 213

I did n't notice this bug if its a bug ofc… but ….There are many was to change your lock screen. One of them is to install aditional programs like goLocker.
Thank you very much vampirian, your ROM is beautiful & excellent and I liked it very much.
Installed the ROM without any trouble except I have to leave the battery in to recognized by SP Flash Tool.
TX for the rom it is very good.. the front camera work but you can't save its photo (no minuature said!) do you have any solution??
apparently i did not face this issue. might be other problem though but i cant really help you with this. Maybe googling will help you find similar issues and solutions for your problems. Sorry but i really cant understand whats wrong here
I mean you can use the front camera. It seems it works but it doesn't! you can't make a photo!
could be a kernel problem. il check it soon and i will let you know
prejudice I managed to install the rom … but when the phone goes into standby screen becomes a thousand colors
um i really dont know why… but seems you have different hardware. are you sure u have mtk 6589? i didnt face any issues about it so i can not know what exactly is the problem. could be that the LCD drivers are wrong for your device or kernel is not suitable. try to use miui rom the one i ported and see if you have same issues. please write back and let me know.
