DESCRIPTION
I've managed to port Cyanogenmod 11 over to the G7.
It's extremely fast and smooth! No lagging at all!
Everything is working and fully functional except for the following:
NOT WORKING:
-
Front Facing Camera -
Video Recording
-
GPS
-
Google Voice Search
I used mainly this guide to port Cyanogenmod 11: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2707438
Along with other guides scattered across the internet.
I don't have a lot of time spare, so if any of you can follow the guide to try and fix the bugs, it would be helpful 
Don't forget to flash GAPPS if you want Google Play Store!
INSTALLATION:
You need either CWM or TWRP recovery to flash this ROM. If you don't have it, then download CWM recovery.
Flash CWM with SP Flash Tool, the scatter file needed is included in the download.
Once you've got CWM flashed, take out your battery for 3 seconds and put it back in.
Press and hold Volume Up, then press and hold Power until you see the Elephone logo.
Then you can let go of the buttons, and you will be in CWM Recovery.
Then using the volume keys, select Wipe Data/Factory Reset, then, Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache, then Mounts and Storage > Format System.
Then
Install from SDcard, press Power to select, choose the ROM zip and select YES to flash.
Then do the same for GAPPS if you want Google Play Store.
That's it, you should be good to go!

Ok I have tried.
Have flashed Original ROM –> Update OTA –> flashed CWM Recovery –> wipe everything –> installed CM11 –> reboot –> install GAPPS
My Phone now is not very smooth and fast. Its very slow.. So I think I have done something wrong or its the ROM.
Everything else seems to wort expect GPS etc ….
