   hello, 
   I have Jiayu G4S (build number: G4SW 20141113-154404) and I am to not able to flash custom recovery … which one should I use? I've tried this one https://www.needrom.com/downlo.....-4-1-jiayu-g4s/ but I am still rebooting into default ANDROID RECOVERY … I've tried mobile uncle and rom manager as well … when I try to reboot into recovery I always end up with droid lying on the back and red triangle over him … 

   When I press power button RECOVERY menu will appear but it is the default one …. When I WIPE USER DATA/FACTORY RESET and then WIPE CACHE .. all seems to be ok but when I try to install this ROM (I am still getting INSTALLATION ABORTED error )

   I got my device rooted, but I am not able to flash the recovery (TWRP and not even CWM) …

   Can you please advice me what I am doing wrong?

     Try flashing Carliv Touch Recovery. After that boot into recovery and flash twrp

     it should work

   it's telling me -> Pls plug-in your device USB to the pc now …  It is already plugged when I click ok it will prompt me with: "Sorry, adb shell is not working .."

   What is wrong? I already installed ADB driver (Driver_Auto_Installer_v1.1236.00) … and I can see it in Computer -> Properties -> Device manager -> Android Phone -> Android Composite ADB Interface 

   Shell I do something else?

     adb shell works ok for me.

      

     did you try "adb devices" to proof that everything "before the shell" works ?!

     Hi i had the same issue.

     i installed MKT Droid tools in WIndows with the PdaNet drivers. started the MKT droid tools and installed TWRP recovery remember to rename the img to recovery.img https://www.needrom.com/downlo.....-g4s/

   For now had to switch back to other ROM because:
   Sim 1 is not working: says "Number not recognized" (can add, but not save the number in phone app settings).
   Sim 2: ok.

   Also:
   Volumebuttons FM radio not working.
   Home button fixed by: "Delete system/usr/keylayout/mtk-tpd.kl and reboot your phone"

   If there will be an update one day, that would be great.

     I have the same issue but on both sim cards "Number not recognized"

     Anyway fiddling with "plane mode" you can get the cards registered to the network, but still "Number not recognized". The selectors to activate/deactivate the card in settings aare not doing anything. (I can send screenshots if you want)
     I am also planning to go back to 4.4.2 if this issue does not receive some attention.

   Hello, my xiaomi miband still can't pair to the g4s, it says "too many devices". Tried to switch off/on bluetooth, uninstall app of miband, etc… with no luck.

   I installed the 9th january update, but it seems like in my phone the BLE is not working ok

   That's the only problem that i see now in this rom, the other things working good, good job!

   Hi,

   as I said my external GPS antenna instead when I go to do the pairing passkey or password tells me wrong, the original rom jiayu 4.4.2 has always worked, I'm sorry because this is fantastic rom

   Hi,

   i recognize that the profiles for me are not working. Installed is CM_PROJECT-G4S-20160106. With the first version (CM_PROJECT-G4S-20151230) the profiles works fine. I created a profile for my work and configured that the profile will be activated if i connect to the work wifi. This was working fine and the profile switched back to standart if i was leaving the work wifi automaticlly.

   With version CM_PROJECT-G4S-20160106 this is not working. I created also a profile for my work wifi and then i leave this wifi the work profile is still selected.

   I have a problem with my WiFi. It connects ok but I get realy slow speeds in the google play store or youtube. Youtube keeps lagging.

   When I test the speed with Speedtest.net, I get good speeds

    It's even worse than I thought, no only sometimes it doesn't show mobile data, even if if show the H/H+/E/G it can't talk to the internet.

    it seems not route was set:
