DarkLightMOD Rom 4.2.1 for Amoi N828
1/2/2014 v1.1 – Update is ready!
What's new:
- new base rom from DNS S4505 (18/10/2013)
- ringtone problem solved but now you can only choose one ringtone for both sims (base rom limit – i'll try to fix it in the next update but nothing promised)
- Reworked some tweaks. More free ram available now.
- New settings menu options for quick access ( GravityBox, Viper4Android και OTA Update)
- OTA Update: inform and download new rom updates directy from phone/app
- updated some apps
- new default lockscreen wallpaper
- maybe others that i dont remember right now 
Two zips available:
DarkLightMOD_v1.1_Amoi_N828_UpdateRom
Update zip. Use this to update without losing everything (wipes only system partition).Just install it through custom recovery and you re ready. There are chances to encounter problems so backup first!

Full Rom. For clean installation. (only one zip this time – procedure is the same as before)
*notice: forgot to change a setting in viper4Android and you probably have low volume sound from headset. Go to viper4android, headset tab at the bottom and change Output Gain to 0db.

There are 2 zips, you have to install both!
The second one has the configuration, so it is essential.
- Boot to custom recovery ( TWRP/CWM )
- Format data/cache/dalvik/system (auto-format is done from the install script too)
- Install first the Rom zip and next the apps zip
- Reboot
- At the first boot, at some point, usually after you enter pin, you will be asked to give root permissions to titanium backup
- DO NOT IGNORE/DENY root permission for titanium.
- Tap to restore the widget on the first screen
- Reboot! ( Titanium will indicate this on notification bar too)
- You are ready! Have fun!!!
For better results:
Open Viper4android και give root permissions.
(Enable BesAudEnh from Audio profiles menu.)
Open developer options and choose .5x for window/transition/animator duration scale.
Go in Display menu and disable lock-screen wallpaper and choose font size "normal", if you want.
Disable EU limiter.

Can You pls port a ROM like ios 7, including all Hi Apps application so that its really looks like ios 7 including Hi Apps Dialer, Hi apps contacts, Hi Apps SMS, or You can use any other apps for iOS like ROM for AMOI N828.
It will be awesome to have a rom just like iOS but with android facilities.

Very good ROM v1.0. I like it ……now my phone completes….except USB tether ….but no problem …..I got main feature both sim 3g switch good work…..best luck for more mod.
