     Got root with kingroot 4.0.0 from phone without PC. Works fine. Good firmware, but only 500MB aviable for apps, thats to small.

     Still light sensor don't work.

     The official one you referring to ist a version R06, but the ROM provided here is version R15, so it is definitively newer. I grabbed the Flash Tool from the R06 Link and updated the DG280 with this R15 update linked here. The battery was installed. So I set up the scatter file before I started the firmware upgrade. And hey it worked. The phone just got updated and okay it took about 3 minutes for the phone to boot and it worked indeed. The little Leo DG280 is now running Android 5.0 Lollipop, Thanks vey much for the upload of the even better file than Doogee could provide on their webpage.

     Thank you StardustOne.

     I have installed it and tested.  Haven't got thru most of it… but first thing I noticed is that it does not have a camera software loaded.  I download the latest version of "Google Camera", which crashes on start, and closes.

     Other things I have found with both 5.0 R6 & R15, are:

     1_ Restore start up does not work (just hangs with logo for ever)..  Thus have no backup, cache clear, etc functions.

     2_ Running these ROMs, system is not recognized by MTKDroidTools any longer.

     3_ Applications can not be moved to Phone storage Memory.

     4_ If I have SD card installed, default write option are only Iternal Memory (which is just over 1GB) or the SD Card, no option to write to Phone Storage Memory available.

     5_ EBR1/2 customized to particion phone on personal choice/requirements do not work… for ever freezing the phone on the boot Logo.  The EBRs I have only work up to KITKAT ROMs (4.4.2).  Anyone created EBRs for Lollipop successfully?

     Thanks for reading.  Hope someone finds this useful, and maybe even has solutions for one or all of the above.
