   I am a noob.  I have studied the manual provided by Doogee, both from here and other sites.  The pop up options in the process do not match the manual when I do it.

   When loading SP_Flash tool I get '***/options/MTK_AllinOne_DA.bin error'.  If I ignore this and continue, I get to the scatter file, and it is supposed to ask for checksum and load auto – it doesn't ask and doesn't tick all the boxes.  As described in the PP maual.

   Obviously I am worried about bricking the phone – any advice?

   ps: I also have a DG800 I have updated successfully with flash and your ROM.

   Not impossible, but we need a custom recovery or a new version of the MTK droid tools, who are able to work with lollipop … its a good rom, nearly stock android, runs fluffy, improves battery runtime … it doesen´t need root, but its nice to have for modifications …

   after the flash is completed, the phone is stuck in a bootmenu cycling through three options 1. recovery mode 2. fastboot mode 3. normal mode

   nothing i press helps.

   thats the problem droidtools don,t work on the moment for lollipop
   so you can,t make a cwm recovery
   with cwm root can make
   but…

   Hi.

   I've done something quite silly and bad, also by accident.

   On the doogee dg700 download page there's the 5.0 upgrade package and a second one called 5.0 upgrade package version 2 (R16), i downloaded both and only installed the original 5.0 upgrade.

   The version 2 file was different, so i (terrible idea) converted the .rar file to a .zip file with the expectation of doing a local update – i decided against it, but left the .zip file in the root directory, later, a OTA update came down and tried to update,it failed and now i have no cellular coverage.

   I've tried flashing the original 5.0 again but nothing.

   Anyone have any ideas?
