This rom is a hybrid solution ported from the Star / Goophone N3+, inspired by "Same-song" Note 3 Touchwiz Experience. Those who notice that the stock factory P8 a bit rough and jerky and overheating temperament, and getting enema-like-annoyed like me (as i use this phone at work) will appreciate this temporary solution. Im not a programmer and all, but it doesnt take a genius to tell that the Star / Goophone, with its big user base, is a lil more smooth UI compared to Elephone, and to patch and cut/paste the good bits together into a hybrid monsta.. i lifted this update.zip off my running phone… If you dont believe me.. give this a try!
A overall much smoother experience with Samesong like Feel.
- Rooted & SuperSU
- Based on Goophone/Star's more stable N3+ 2014-02-20 Firmware but with some latest firmware and compass drivers ported from P8 2013-03-18
-Smoother and less jerky
-Out of the Box Samesong feel, with Samesong boot logo, Touchwiz, S note & memo working. Soo gud, you'd be singing the Same Song again & again while it boots!
-Less overheating generated when browsing internet.
-Slightly faster GPS Lock
(for faster lock, need to use Faster GPS from market, select a closer server to ur region and MTK Mobile Uncle tool to prime & download fresh AGPS data. Google it folks.. its out there, im not ur nanny 
. And for goodness sake, enable everthing gps & do it under a clear blue sky for its initial gps lock, not UNDER A CONCRETE bunker & cry like a baby when it doesn't lock…. :-S )

- S Window with sexy girls or communist propaganda as backdrop. Yep.. im not joking. Much better than that boring crap diamond monogram that came with Samesong! Hey if that's what's on the Chinese minds these days..sexy girls & communist flags, while sending a chinaman & woman to space on a Russian roman candle, im not judging.. 
Prerequisite :
- Need to have ClockWorkMod recovery installed in your current ROM
Install :
Install via Recovery
Copy the p8update.zip to your SDCARD
Reboot recovery (power + Volume Up Buttons) Do a backup!!!
Wipe Data Factory Reset & clear cache,Wipe Dalvik Cache (very important step). If you dont follow this, well then you deserve whatever life's lemons give ya.
If you don't and the old roms gets mixed up with the new one, it all becomes a bloody mess..
install and reboot
Chinese language is default. If you see it, don't freak out like u got herpes! If you're OK wearing China made underwear & driving on cheap china tyres & buying china phones, a lil Mandarin for a few minutes wont kill yo hommies!… Go into settings and select third tab from the left. Look for the [A] icon for Languages, click that, and click on the 1st item on the top (that is to select other languages).

Tips
Use Nova Launcher, Set "Force GPU for rendering" under Developer Options for increased creamy smoothness.

Known Bugs
- S planner calendar crashes in certain circumstances (eg when changing dates). Install google calendar as an alternative.

hello and thanks for the rom .. but the ClockworkMod recovery for this phone as I find it?
ClockWorkMod recovery cannot install the zip, error msg:
"can't open sdcard\p8update.zip (bad)
installation aborted"
HI guys, the best way to install CWM onto your stock rom is to install snappea to get the USB drivers, root it with VROOT and then backup, and modify the boot using MTK droid tools. Have a look at the video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?.....v=tuT8ffLaym8

Yes, i done it before, CWM is on the phone, i copied the zip to sdcard, but the CWM cannot install it. I will try anothe sd card …
Anyway, i install the new official rom with SP Flas Tool, but i would like to check your rom also
