I've tested some gapps packages (pa_gapps, open_gapps and the old mokee kitkat-140619 gapps – in none of them is the google play store working. It's showing only "downloading …", but nothings happens all the time.
Any ideas?

Finally, I installed this ROM:
working fine in general, but I am unable to get Google Playstore working!
I tried a few versions, but all show the same problem: apps don't download (just hanging at 'installing' for ever'

any idea???

  you should install gapps for kitkat then go to recovery and format cash partition then install gapps.at first back up from your rom
