Hello i cant get access to recovery, i just bought this phone.., version of rom is 20170116 latest at now, a try flash multiple times and versions but still nothing, SP flash flash it good but when i disconnect usb from phone, add battery, push UP+POWER, it goes in to boot menu where is 1.recovery 2.fastboot 3.normal.  1. recovery starts rom anyway.. i dont know if i do something wrong?  (i try 32bit and 64bit too)  i let my phone do 2. off update maybe that was bad idea. THX for reply.

If you  can't see the special boot screen, but only "1. recover 2. …", you need:

      1. Download the latest official rom (not the default rom!) and boot from:
      https://www.needrom.com/downlo.....gee-x5-max-pro/

      2. Then you can freely install TWRP x32-ROM and the SuperSu after it. Both from:
      https://www.needrom.com/downlo.....twrp-3-0-2-x32/

      That's it! Have fun!

P.S. I think that my phone was with the default rom, but I'm not sure. I installed the default rom from the official link, but then the phone was just with white screen. Then I replaced it with the latest official rom – the phone was OK, but not rooter. Then I installed the TWRPx32 and the next reboot I saw the good boot-menu. I uploaded the SuperSu on the MicroSD card and flashed it on the next boot. Now everything is OK.

P.S. I need to configure the mobile internet spots mainly, because the operation system doesn't make it automate. I think that the problem isn't in the phote, but in the operation system's version.

    Hey.

I do have the same issue as wolf and I am on 11/23. The flash takes less than 30 seconds but the Tool shows the green checkmark and everything seems to be okay. When I try to boot into recovery I press Power+VOLup, but it doesn't boot into recovery immediately. The screen shows "Recovery" "Fastboot" or "Normal Boot". When I select Recovery the Phone will just boot up normally. If I reboot into recovery via adb (adb reboot recovery) the screen shows "no command". I will have to press the Power Button and then the phone shows the basic (doogee) Phone Recovery but no TWRP. Any Ideas?

Hi, there are two version of twrp for this doogee (one for 32 bit firmware [the lastest] and another one for 64 bit firmware). Please, try the 64 bit version of trwp.

      Best Regards
