I already have an new 4.2.2 kitkat version on my g9000, so what does yours make it better? can you please add some screenshots ?
like does it have LED notification? email notification? whatsapp? cause on this custom rom it all works, but the led aint changing, and mail and whatsapp do come up, but no notification on the icon.. if you know what i mean
Mmmh, 4.2.2 is not kitkat… however, this is the Offical stock update of 14 july (4.4.2),

Is it Rooted, and if not, which software do you suggest?
I'm having serious troubles rooting mine (I f**ked up the IMEIs and I need the ROOT to restore them)

I am new to this Android world,and I would like to ask a few questions.First, I have bought a Kingelon G9000 recently,but on my Antutu benchmark it says brand Alps.Is this upgrade to Kitkat good for this brand? Because I saw some different versions,like Kingelon,Star.The specifications are the same(Mt6592 Octacore,706v92_jbla_fhd) but the date is different.Yours is 20140710, mine is 20140614.Is safe to update with all this said?
