DESCRIPTION
Kernel patch comes from excellent russian author Dimid/iv2012 (see below to his pages on russian forum)
There are patches:
Boot_Uboot_112.zip – kernel from original ROM 1.1.2. - set gama for new displays
Boot_Uboot_111.zip – kernel from original ROM 1.1.1. - set gama for new displays
Boot_Uboot_110.zip – kernel from original ROM 1.1.0. - set gama for old display
Boot_Uboot_112.zip, Boot_Uboot_111.zip fixes the value Gamma 1.2, on the new displays from second production run. After applying will get gamma 2.0.
Boot_Uboot_110.zip revert back gama value for old displays.
Gama value can test it in application Display tester https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gombosdev.displaytester
Instructions:
- run Gamma test, will see picture as on first attachment
- look at picture on mobile
- find the column whose color matches the background, now you know gama
If your gama value > 1.2 (usually around 1.8) you have the first series phone.
If your gama value = 1.2 you have the second series mobile.
Do not apply Boot_Uboot_111.zip if you have phone from the first serie, will have too dark display. If you did it, apply Boot_Uboot_110.zip, it will revert changes back.
Install it from TWRP. After install click on Clear Cache/Dalvik, then restart to system.

The white is darker on my cellphone than on Coolgen Tm2 I sold to my friend who share house with me.
How can I adjust that?

It is not possible to adjust white color – you have to choose from two states Gama old/new. It is a THL work

Hmm… I keep getting black screens after the boot THL logo, don't know why, installed it via TWRP, made a wipe even a factory reset but none works for me :/
It don´t work at my thl5000. I have 1.4 befor and after install
