   xudhir.. rooting isn't made for custom rom, it's for taking advantage of the real phone posibilities, from cleaning the rom of ugly apps that your phone provided put there and are taking space in the system to greenifing in a better way the apps or having more control of what is running in background. About custom roms, I have no experience and more important no time to put in this, unfortunately, but I will try my best. I also don't like AMIGO UI and I would rather prefer a vanilla experience, but until I can understant how to dissasemble and rebuild the boot in a "working" way, it seems I cannot do to much.    It's not to much, but it's a clear improvement over stock, as it has out of the box root, deodex, it's zipaligned, debloated (I left Amigo UI apps there, I hate weather and their store and remove it with root, but others may like it), I fixed the ugly SMS auto-sending, did other stuff there, you can see it in the changelog.

   Also.. I tried to port Cubot X15 last week, it all seemed allright, it repacked even the boot, but after installing it on the phone it just wouldn't start. Probably something in the boot section, I probably need to repack the boot properly. We will se if I can do it and have time, because… I don't have that..

   Thanx romnz but i also removed all ugly apps like touchpal, sales track , smartburst, etc . But i also dont like amigo ui , i have no experience to porting rom . if u give me some idea how to port rom then i also try to port any other rom. Any idea to port CyanogenMod or samsung touchwiz rom in gionee f103 .

   About custom roms.. I am learning now. Mad Skill was kind enough to give me some pointers, but the mt6735 is much harder to port as mt65xx as it has some totally new things. The best I could do until now was to port a nexus rom with lollipop 5.1, but even if it's working on the phone, it has serious problems with baseband (no imei, no bluetooth), camera not working, internal sdcard swapped with external// and I stopped there last night as any action I took to repair them resulted in a non-bootable rom (flashed it about 5 times already in different configurations and it's not working). No idea why. So, best case scenario, next week we can have this nexus rom, provided I can have the time to learn what changes I have to do in it for these things to work. I also spent a lot of time seeking a way to make or adapt a flashable imei changer, but this phone just has no nvram.bin to work with! Full of NULL's when you read it back with SPFlash.. probably the new gpt system is at fault. I will document myself when I can and hopefully we can have a new rom. I wouldn't mind if someone with more experience would do it, but since there was no one I had to start learning…

   Developments:

   1. I managed to port Philz touch recovery – it should be up soon here on needrom

   2. Ported Nexus AOSP 5.1.1 – but i struggled for one week with the flashlight, camera and nfc before I realised that I need another custom kernel for it, and this is something I cannot do. 5.0.2 does not port well on 5.1.1…

   I saw no other problems on this Custom Rom, but I feel it's unusable. If you would like for me to post it still, without a working camera, flashlight and nfc, please write this here.

   If there is an android master here and knows a better way in fixing the a camera that is ported from 5.0.2 to 5.1.1, please share it with us. If not, we have to wait for an official update to Lollipop 5.1.1 of this device before I can port it bugless with this operating system. Yeah, it sucks! Also tryouts for about 150 files that could have made the difference sucked.. my time.. alot

   3. Next project will be something based on 5.0.2, and hopefully I can find and port something more appropriate for our device than AMIGO. We will see.

   Again, without Mad Skill I would have been light years away from this, so thank you again, Mad Skill!!

   I don’t think there is any need of any file to root f103 except recovery file. I had ROM of f103. I just changed recovery file link to your file inside flashtool and cwm installed. Flash SuperSU and done. Well thanks for custom recovery. AR effects work really well on f103
