DESCRIPTION
Download and Install Framaroot and mtk mobile uncle tools..
Place the recovey.img anywhere in sdcard
Steps:-
1) Root your Device if not rooted. open framaroot and try all three exploits, most of the time the third one will work
2) After restarting your device your phone will be rooted. Open mtk mobile uncle tools (Grant root access to the app) in that go to Recovery update… It will search the sdcard for recovery. Select the ctr recovery which you downloaded ( if you have trouble finding it then match the right filesize)
3) Once done, ctr is installed.. Switch off your phone.. to open or go to recovery mode press and hold VOLUME_UP+POWER_BUTTON once you see gionee logo release power_button but not volume_up button.
Note:
To Scroll across the files in ctr recovery swipe right/left on the space just above the soft navigation keys
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

sir i have downloaded CTR RECOVERY two times but whenever iam open the mobile uncle tool and recovery update it shows something else i did not get CTR file there but am sure my file is in sd card please help

I successfully installed the CTR, then I mistakenly formatted /system partition! Now my phone won’t boot normally, only boots into CTR!
Tried flashing a custom ROM, but the installation always gives an error! Most custom ROMs require TWRP recovery!
I would have flashed stock ROM using SP Flash Tools but the phone USB port is bad.
Please can anyone give me a link to any Gionee P3 ROM that can be flashed through CTR??
