i dont have such issue, perhaps you should stop and clear data from google play services, play store etc..
The same not working
did everything.new play store,host file fix.Still NETWOTKR ERROT and google acount not wont to sync
perhaps your device is the new version of Cubot X6. what you can do is, just replace google contacts sync apk and odex files from cubot 1.0 or 1.1 ROMS. then change permissions and restart.
if you cannot do that, you should just flash original Rom with mtk tools.
