Everything went fine and using SP Flash Tool and I got a confirmation at the end with a Green tick that it has been successful.
Indeed the firmware had installed on my Samsung SM-A5000 and everything on the phone was working apart from one really important service.
I could not make any phone calls as I had no network coverage. 'EMERGENCY CALLS' only was all that would show up at the bottom of the screen.
There is nothing wrong with my SIM card because when I put it in another device it works exactly how it should. The strange thing is with a SIM card in the phone or not in the phone, the signal strength of the network (4 white bars at the top) is always showing. I went to Network settings and only have two options to choose from GSM/WCDMA (Auto Mode) and WCDMA only, I am sure I had 3 choices before with GSM only before as well.
