ROM Phone HomTom HT17 – ROM Android 6.0
ONLY MT6737M
Official ROM HomTom HT17 Version: HOMTOM-HT17-Android_6.0-R04-20160718
Gapps included - Not Rooted
Language support : Multilang
Install ROM :
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select "scatter-Loading" and search MT6737M_Android_scatter.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- Select "Download Only" or if upgrade "Firmware upgrade"
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery (if the battery is removable) and replace it after some seconds (and don't turn on the phone).
- Press “Download” button to start
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM
Worked fine. Rom is ok, no IMEI lost after update and phone works faster.

Cannot find MT6737M_Android_scatter.txt in search. where do I find this file?
Scatter file is right there whit other files when u extract the ROM.

The current firmware is not stable. I know that the phone only has 1 GB RAM but when browsing sites with Chrome it hangs a lot.
Let's hope that the future firmware has its performance improved.
There is OTA update to R05. You can try that. 1GB RAM is just not enough for multitasking.
Not possible with TWRP, I'll have to find the stock recovery and remove root before the update.
This phone really needs a firmware like Cyanogen.
I had to remove TWRP also to install update. I flashed R04 with flash tool, then made an update to R05 and then flashed TWRP again.
It would be great if someone ported CM13 to this phone.

Is this the latest R04 Rom? as i have this "R04-20160718" and have also donloaded R04-20160919 so surely the 919 is the latest R04 before R05 OTA?
