Firmware HTC EVO 4G LTE – ROM Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean 3.15.651.16 RUU

Firmware install:

1.Connect your phone to computer using USB cable. Wait few moment as your computer trying to recognize your phone. When done, move to next step. [Make sure your device is in charging mood and SD Card isn’t mounted]

2.Double click on downloaded RUU file to begin the process. Then follow onscreen instruction to finish the firmware update process successfully.

That’s it! You have successfully updated to latest firmware version. To confirm the update go to: Settings » About phone.

Now, what if RUU.exe not work for you or your friend don’t have Windows PC! You should then manually collect the ROM zip, rename it to appropriate build and then flash it either using stock recovery or using custom recovery. And if both recovery isn’t the option for you then you need to flash it using Fastboot command.

So, first thing first. Collect official ROM by using RUU and then rename it to appropriate update zip file.
