DESCRIPTION
Here I present you my Zopo 1000s Modded ota ROM for Inew V3.
It is for the internal /data/media type phones. (with only MBR and EBR1). System is part5 data is part7.
Port 100% from Zopo 1000s – GESTURES finally work in INEW (See photo)
Installation
—————
You must first install official KK 1.13 (to make the partitions correct)
If you don't have it I can build a small Flash tool update. —–>Request!
Backup your NVRAM and Sec.ro partitions. (better be safe than sorry!) It can be fixed anyway so don't worry.
Transfer my zip rom to your SD. Insert SD in phone.
First flash my recovery with your favorite program (Mobile uncle or via Flash tool <—- prefered)
Reboot phone , enter recovery.
Press Wipe (Default one wipe data , davlik , cache – BACKUP impotant data , all will be lost) .Then wipe internal.
Return to main menu after finished.
Go to install. Choose storage microSD at the middle-bottom
Select correct zip file from microSD
When finished , return to main menu and POWER off phone
Remove microSD and Start phone.
Wait longer than normal , Rom rebuilding data. Done!
Rom has native init.d Support , Superuser and partial Busybox (Install busybox from play store and update)
ADDED FLASH BASE FOR FLASH TOOLS -Not for those who don't know what they are doing!
How to install.
1) Back up your phone with flash tools.
2) Unzip my pack
3) Add inside the unpacked folder my recovery image , named recovery.img
4) Add inside the unpacked forder YOUR nvram.bin and secro.img from your backup from flash tools folder! VERY important as this retains your IMEI! Later you can simply download a newer nvram.bin if needed! Can't give you mine as it contains my Imeis!
5) Load flash tools , load MT6582_Android_scatter.txt from the folder and choose (format all and download) and press Download. ATTENTION this will totally wipe your phone!
6) Turn off your phone , remove battery. Keep it removed! Connect first usb to PC then to your Phone. It should start downloading the base. Notice you will not have a system , cache and userdata partition yet after it finish!
7) Unplug USB , put battery back on , turn on phone by pressing volume up at the same time. This will take you in recovery. Now , goto wipe , and Advanced wipe. Fist choose system , Swipe to wipe. Then Cache , Swipe to wipe , then go back and format Data , type yes to wipe. This is very important and should be done exactly like this as it formats the blank system.cache.data partitions , making them ready to accept data!
Notice you will now have 1.4gb system , 256mb cache and the rest data!
Copy my rom to your SD and follow the step to install via TWRP after you reboot in recovery again (You will have no system yet!)
9) Enjoy new partitions and never loose imei again!

Updated for phones with replaces screen by popular request. Camera set to Inew standards too .
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

Nice one, but can you delete zopo logo & boot sound?
Thank you so much…..
With any root explorer go into folder system/media and delete bootanimation.zip and bootaudio.mp3.
TWRP 2.7.1…. I prefer mine cause it is set to work with data/media and my boot.img to correctly prepare the system cache data partitions (format clean) so that my rom creates permittions correctly. (Zopo uses EBR1 and EBR2 fat32 formated nand – Mine uses the normal data/media emulation that V3 has and translates that correctly for Zopo Rom especially the boot.img) If you already have twrp you can try to flash it but wipe cache and internal storage first or the Rom can't build its files if it has another users files in it!) (Data will be formated anyway
If you have problems flashing the recovery use the stock 1.0.13 rom's scatter.txt , with phone booted and connected , open flash tools click on recovery file, load my recovery file , uncheck all other partitions and press Download then reboot phone , it will pick up the bootloader and download the recovery only! Mobile uncle tools sometimes don't work right!
Thanks for the quick reply.
.
So I used the TWRP that came with the 1.0.13 and the Rom is pretty awesome. I am facing another two issues:
1) It keeps saying that me SD card was removed unexpectidly. Not sure if that is a Rom issue but it did not do that prior to this with another Kitkat rom.
2) My sim1 keeps dropping network completely and can take up to an hour to get network back. I am currently speaking to the network provider to investigate as it might be the sim card. Could it be the baseband?

I found another weird thing. In dialler, if you type *#06# to view your IMEI numbers, it only shows one. Very weird, but using the secret menu, you can see that both are there and both do show network access at the same time.
They both sound like faults from permitions due to old rom residue files ….
told you , use my recovery.
2nd could be nvram problems , do you have a backup? What version of board is your phone?
Try flashing your nvram back + use modemfix from my other rom Umi port (sounds like you have a 900mhz board)
Is GPS working?
I have a 850mhz board. I will look into it again later today and try to get the recovery to work. I did attempt to only install the recovery using Sp flash tool, and it wrote it correctly. But when I hold volume up + power button to go into recovery, the INEW white logo screen comes and keeps displaying it every 5 seconds. Could not get into recovery.

hmmm , might have to format and download , seems your partitions are mixed up!
Do me a favour , connect adb shell and type df , cat proc/partitions and mount and post the output plz!
Thanks for the support. It is amazing!!!
I will try and do an ADB but have not done it before. The Reception thing seems to have come right now which is good. Must be my sim car as it is a bit old. Both of the IMEI's are there. I will try and do the ADB and get the output by tomorrow.
