   After a month or so of using 1.1.4, I reverted back to 1.1.0. The reason – shorter battery life. Whilist the battery calibration in 1.1.4 is mildly better, it's life is also somewhat shorter. 1.1.0 lasts me two to three days longer than 1.1.4. You have no insentive to upgrade past 1.1.0 in opinion.

   Can anyone please tell us how to root this device? I have used iroot, kingroot, 360root and it seems that i can't root it.Please help!!!

   fix for lost imei :

   [1] Open Phone Dialer and enter *#*#3646633#*#*.
   
   By entering this you will enter 'Engineer Mode' of the device.
   
   Note : "Misconfiguration in engineer mode can cause damage
   
   [2] In engineer mode go to CDS Information 
   
   [3] Click on Radio Information 
   
   [4] Select Phone 1 for Ist imei (Phone 2 for IInd imei)
   
   [5] At the top on command line type EGMR=1,7,"IMEI" after AT+
   
   please type 15 digit valid 1st imei number within quote " as shown 
   
   here : AT+EGMR=1,7,"1234567890XXX15"
   
   [6] Hit send command 
   
   
   
   Don't put imei without quotes. Wrong way: AT+EGMR=1,7,1234567890XXX15
   
   
   
   Correct way: AT+ EGMR=1,7,"1234567890XXX15"
   
   please put imei between " "
   
   Don't Ignore Special Characters 
   
   
   
   [7] For 2nd imei number type after AT+ EGMR=1,10,"IMEI_2" (put your 15 digit 2nd imei number in place of "IMEI_2"
   
   [8] Hit send command 
   
   [9] Reboot

   That asshole who has been saying here and other forums that he has ported cm12 for this phone is just a liar, it´s a shane to see this great device abandoned, nobody on scene has shown any interest on port new android versions for the v7, it´s sad to see many ports and cooked roms for almost all of the models and chinese brands, but this one is abandoned by the scene, i hope somebody someday makes the job, this one is just a regular mtk as any other chinese phone out there…
