iPhone S, MTK 6571A , IPHONE 6S ML7J2CH/A.
This fix/files is tested for only setting icon is gone after reset.
1. on flash tool, flash only ANDROID (system.img)
i suggest flash only the system.img if your device is working and only missing a setting icon.. ( not yet tested on full flash)
i've been searching for months for a solution to this mobile device after a hard reset / factory reset icon settings is GONE!

Also correct me if i'm wrong this device shows MT6572 but it's fake it is acctaully MT6571.

tried that a many times, it will revert back to apple boot logo but still icon setting is missing..

what i do:
flash with: stock rom 4.2.2 and change only system.img (take from above soft) and it work.
why sound is missing?
try to dial the reset code again, few days after i posted this the icon setting on the phone suddenly dissapears again, i factory reset few time, falsh the system.img and dialed the reset code and it worked again,

I flashed a rom to my device and soft bricked it, and then I used this rom and it works but the screen doesn't work properly (bad LCD display). I haven't dropped the phone or damaged it so it's something to do with the LCD driver. On MTK Droid Tools it says the LCD driver is '0-nt35512_dsi_vdo'. Someone help me out pleaseee

cannot flash this rom via sp tool, flashing only the system.img will cause the phone to stuck on the "ANDROID" bootlogo
the only firmware that is fine booting is
iPhone_6S_MT6571_NAND_4.2.2_ALPS.JB7.MP.V1.14
but i have no settings icon…
