Very nice update. Was looking for 4.2 ROMs for my Jiayu G3. Finaly found this one.
Some issues with the Rom though
Phone does not identify the incoming caller names although its showing up in the "Peoples" app. Just gives the numbers. Also, the incoming call animation (the one with concentric circles) is lagging and jerky. I do not like new layout of incoming caller photo area etc (full screen photo mode) Is there a way I can disable this? I tried freezing Assign Caller photo, but that didnt help.
Is there a way we can customize the notification drawer buttons. I'd like to include a switch from 2g to 3g in that area as it would be very convenient for me.

Everything working fine for me, GPS sucks as usual but at least fixes faster than before.
The only really important thing, to me, is to enable Volume+ Key to wake the phone. The usual "vol+-wakeup_4_1_2.zip" patch isn't working anymore.
install svox to get copilot working.
Since new update of Copilot GPS, it does not work anymore (alaways crash when launching), even with SVOX installed. Any suggestion to solve this issue ?
tried copilot update but cant get it working so restored from backup.
I have a problem. At Camera -> Video, I cannot change anything except front/back and flashlight. No settings for resulution, etc… Bigger problem is that in the video what I made, the sound is delayed in the video

I have used this rom for about a week now, The only big problem that i have is that my phone will not charge quick anymore. and The battery drains extemly fast.
I use the same charger as i have always used. And within 1 night (About 7-8) hours i get from 20% to about 70-85% battery. And it drains to like 20 with little to no use within the day. And some times when i just have my phone in my pocket i can somethimes feel that the phone is starting to heat up. and i do not know why. I do not belive that my battery is bad either.
Also it would be great if all of the text was transelated to english.
Everything else seem to work very fine. it runs smooth and does not lag.
Hi henkol1, strange, I have the original G3 version (not N) and found to be more uptime (~ +50%) than 4.2.1/4.0.4 and the charging time is the same as before.
Great battery performance with me! I am not a heavy user, 3 or 4 short calls a day, bluetooth only on when a call is made or received (using an app for that) and wifi off, but used 6 or more times a day to check emails, read comics or news papers, update apps, etc.
But I let it charge during one night and it last for more than a week!!! LOVE IT!

i had a problem with the bluetooth, just couldn't turn it on.
i created a folder bluetoothd under /data/misc -> reboot -> fixed.
