Install ROM :
CWM
Step 1: Download the custom ROM copied to an external SD card root directory
Step 2: the shutdown state. While holding down:
– Power button + volume button up, to enter the recovery mode.
– Wipe Data / Factory Reset -> delete all user data
– Wipe Cache Partition -> Wipe cache
– Advanced -> Wipe Dalvik Cache
Step 3: Return to recovery main interface Install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from sdcard -> Select your ROM
Step 4: Brush complete, restart the phone Patience required – first boot takes a while
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

thericcopl just go to recovery and run the zipped patch without any wipes …. and reboot!
The best rom for Jiayu G4. Works great on my JIAYU g4 with 1.5 ghz,mt6589T.
Still draining the battery a lot quicker even with update but still the best rom yet
The battery consumption problem, still exists.
When installing the patch has not improved anything.
But it is the best rom out there for the G4.

This ROM works very good. In medium/good GSM and WIFI coverage it doesn´t drains battery that much. Great work SoCr@te.
Is this rom only for G4 advanced?
Very nice ROM – thanks for your efforts. I use y G4 with a single SIM and this is the first ROM that doesn't bring up the SIM2 icon or warning. Had a minor issue with the lock screen wallpaper (balloons). Couldn't read the keypad against the background, and couldn't work out how to change the lock screen wallpaper. Deleting "AgoldWallpaperLock.apk" from "System\app\" solved the problem. Many thanks.
Exploring the battery issue, I think it is a calibration/indication issue rather than an actual battery issue. At 5% I started streaming HQ video at full volume and it went for nearly 2 hours! I let the battery fully drain, then booted in to recovery, cleared cache and fixed permissions (not sure if either was necessary) and then charged to full. I let it completely run down twice more followed by a full charge, and it is now performing in my opinion as per the stock rom. So I think it is the battery callibration/indicator that was the issue not the actual drain on the battery.
This ROM works fine!
Some of the positive as well as negative points which I observed:
+ nice s4 like UI
+ screen handling has improved (I have the ghosting bug)
+ tone volume(audio) has greatly improved
- battery is getting discharged at a very fast pace with no to average use
(i will try to calibrate my battery). SoCr@Te can you please fix this..I am willing to pay for a better ROM for my phone.
- wifi signal is a bit weak / network signal sometimes gets weak too
- unable to pull down notification area when phone is locked (is it normal in original S4 UI ?)
