DESCRIPTION
Official KOMU ROM KK 4.4.2 (KOMU K8 is a phone same Zopo ZP 998)
http://www.komu.it/index.php
Installation with Flashtool (see the guide inside the zip File)
You must unzip this file to a folder on your PC. NO FLASH WITH RECOVERY !
If you have already a recovery file flash it with the ROM, just replace the factory recovery.img by your recovery.img file like TWRP 2.8.0.1 recovery file.
ROM is not rooted because it is official ROM
If you want SuperSU root
Install TWRP 2.8.0.1 before
Then restart in recovery mode
In recovery mode you ask to reboot>power off
Then TWRP says it is not rooted, asked you to root
You say ok and the phone start again
Follow the instructions :
Then you have to download SuperSU on playstore and install it in normally mode (no ask to restart with recovery, sometimes it doesn't work)
And the root is better than Kinguser
I did it
If you want King user root :
Root is easily done by flashing this zip through modded recovery:
https://yadi.sk/d/Fjyv4lM2VNrSK
Download rar archive, extract it (password is 123), put 4.4Root.zip on your sdcard and flash with recovery that you have flashed before
I changed the memory from 4 GB to 8 GB (at the same time than i flashed the ROM, and rooted.
Titanium is ok
Battery is very good. And GPS is for me the best of all ROMs ..but not perfect.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

@bouboulethai: rooting via TWRP 2.8.0.1. doesn't work here.
i did it it works !

Follow the instructions :
Then you have to download SuperSU on playstore and install it
And the root is better than Kinguser
I did it
Yes, I did all that – several times (i.e., reinstalled it again, and followed the same process again). It claims to be rooted, but it wasn't. Try the RebootMenu app, or Titanium Backup or SuperBackup, or File Manager. None of them could get root access. I subsequently returned to Marsapa …
I use Titanium backup, Screenshot … without problem.
You can also use Kinguser root
Good Rom, camera beautiful.
please only mod hide / show waves and G, 3G on 4.4.2 KitKat not? Thanks and best regards.
Did anyone else get italicised system fonts or was it just me?
No have this problem
So your fonts are normal?
yes normal
did you wipe all before flashing this ROM ?
Yes – several times; wiped data, cache, dalvik cache.
I wipe all : data, android secure etc … except internal and external sd card). I go to wipe advanced in TWRP
WHat language do you use ? i will try
I just wiped wiped data, cache, and dalvik cache, which should be all that is necessary to reset to factory. I use English (British).
Guys.. after one week of observation with this ROM , i found that battery drain very fast .
Did you wipe all before? My battery is very good with this ROM. better than Marsapa ROM
Use battery calibration (playstore) to calibrate your battery.
wheres the twrp 2.8.0.1?
