DESCRIPTION

Official KOMU ROM KK 4.4.2 (KOMU K8 is a phone same Zopo ZP 998)

Installation with Flashtool (see the guide inside the zip File)

You must unzip this file to a folder on your PC. NO FLASH WITH RECOVERY !

If you have already a recovery file flash it with the ROM, just replace the factory recovery.img by your recovery.img file like TWRP 2.8.0.1 recovery file.

ROM is not rooted because it is official ROM

If you want SuperSU root

Install TWRP 2.8.0.1 before

Then restart in recovery mode

In recovery mode you ask to reboot>power off

Then TWRP says it is not rooted, asked you to root

You say ok and the phone start again

Follow the instructions :

Then you have to download SuperSU on playstore and install it in normally mode (no ask to restart with recovery, sometimes it doesn't work)

And the root is better than Kinguser

Root is easily done by flashing this zip through modded recovery:

Download rar archive, extract it (password is 123), put 4.4Root.zip on your sdcard and flash with recovery that you have flashed before

I changed the memory from 4 GB to 8 GB (at the same time than i flashed the ROM, and rooted.

Titanium is ok

Battery is very good. And GPS is for me the best of all ROMs ..but not perfect.

For me it breaks IMEI and also I am unable to restore apps with titanium…

Hi all,

i made now a flash with this ROM, looks nice,
I'm curious about GPS, but that tomorow, untill now, magnetic sensor NOT WORK ! have you tiy it?
all others seems to be ok..

Hi,
So, I tried this ROM but got back to ZOPO KK from July 2014.
I can say, I got also system in Italian lang and the font looked like italic. For me useless as ZOPO's September update – smart cover doesn't work.
and, before flashing I had big big problem to make backup, My old version of MyBack Pro did not work properly, new free version same issue and Titanium Backup Pro sais everytime, I have not enogh free space! Even there was USB OTG with 12GB free space… So I just restore backup of whole ROM through TWRP. Fanny think is, that after restoring old ROM battery life is much much better, now I have still about 66% of battery after 14 hours of intesive use (FB, Viber, calling)

Cant get any signal on GPS after installed this rom. Reinstalled Stock 4.4.2 Zopo and no still no signal at all. I have 10 sats in view but no signal. What happened?? Can any1 help me??
