Lenovo A766 Google Edition

Created on based firmware S117

Deleted preinstalled software from Lenovo, and replaced with the equivalent from Google

GAPPS + ROOT + GravityBox

Language: Multilanguage

ROM install:

Install using CWM Recovery

"Installing"	Select Show
Step 1. Unpack the archive on the PC in the most convenient location . Step 2 . Copy the folder "clockworkmod" on the memory card in the root partition ( check that the folder "clockworkmod" was not in the folder "clockworkmod"). Step 3 . Restarts in CWM do "wipe data / factory reset" ( optional doing backup of your system ) . Another useful but not necessarily come to the point of "mounts and storage" and select "format / storage" ( Beware ! Clears the memory of the user data , photos, videos , and other ) . Step 4 . Go to point "backup and restore", select "restore", select "Lenovo_A766_Google_Edition_by_iTIGERya". Step 5 . Forward recovery , select "Go back", select "reboot system now".

Version: 6.0.1.2

Before flashing, rename the file to "recovery.img"

Language: EN

About firmware:

Multilanguage, with priority Russian translation

Built addition GravityBox (how to start looking for in Google)

Sick of all those chinese spam apps? This is the best rom ever that already clean those apps for you. Another suggestion for improvement would be include Lenovo Power back in this rom. I kinda miss Lenovo Power after using this rom a while

after restore & using the phone over the weekend, notice that biggest benefit of this rom is the system now uses less power compared to lenovo rom. good job! appreciate your selfless effort for the less talented consumer like myself

hi iTigerya, after some weeks of usage, although the battery lifespan is good but the lagging seem unbearable even with minimum app install on sdcard. will you be kind enough to relook into this lagging issue? i use cpu control to minimise the lag but still find lagging issue.
